  • the seven people that dislike are justin bebier fans :P

  • Bravo les Québécois!!! Great job, guys!!! Thanks a lot... Merci beaucoup !

  • Thanks! we are Québécois ...français du Québec!

  • great work guys, are you french?

  • very very good!

  • Not an important mistake of the drummer. Just a question: why the intro is on guitar instead of on piano?

  • Yes it started very good. I don`t think, that the drummer make a big mistake.

The Leadsinger is very nerly to Peter G. I´m a big Genesis-Fan. These cover is okay!

  • Started out very cool...then the drummer lost his fckn mind and killed the entire feel during the guitar solo. Watch video of Nir Z playing this piece w/Genesis during their 98 tour.....AND LEARN.

  • great, great job on this. Perfect cover.

  • Wow, excellent rendition

  • Bravo . . nice job indeed.

  • Flippin excellent. Great job guys. Bravo indeed.

  • Beautiful guys well done and thank you for posting

  • the very fact that bands are playing this song nowadays is worth fast. brilliant

  • Incredible intro, very good cover.

  • Best FoF cover i've watched on You Tube. Good job!

  • FANTASTIC

  • Great cover. And incredible intro...

  • Best cover on the tube !!!

  • well done.

  • two thumbs UP !!

  • awesome

  • Very, very nice...

  • I really enjoyed it. What else can I say !!!!!

  • Incredible intro :)

  • Caramba! Si no lo estuviese viendo, no lo creería!

El guitarrista hizo la introducción que en el original hacía el piano! Mis respetos.

  • "The sands of time were eroded by river of constant change"

    Love the end line!

  • nice cover :) extremely nice :)

  • the greatest version of firth of fifth

  • yeah !!!! The greatest versions of the song (after Genesis')!

  • The intro with acoustic guitar was excellent...

Oh, the whole thing as so beautiful!

  • Very nice guitar solo, really nice. But the drummer slows down the song a bit too much. It's nice to get slower a little bit to make it deeper, but not that much.

  • they had such an harmony like no other progressive band!

  • wow pretty good...

  • excellent!

  • Wow!! incredable. I also think the intro was great.

  • ur classical guitar player is amazing being able to play that intro that well. i'm really impressed!! keep up the good work guys!!!

  • I like it, too. Classical guitar w/ mellotron sounds

  • I liked the intro on the guitar.

  • best rendition i have seen.

  • Probably the best that can be done other than Gabriel, Hackett, Rutherford, Banks, and Collins themselves.

  • One of the best renditions i've seen. Well Done!

  • Blown away guys, this is just magical. fived, faved and subbed

  • Congratulations! Fantastic performance! This music is in my opinion, the most beutiful song of Genesis.

  • great job

  • great job

  • great job

  • great job

  • What did you use for the mellotron string sound? I can't see the keyboardist playing one.

  • At 6.15 I'm sure they'r out of beat...

  • So?

    You're point?

  • I have invented a new system of ratings especially for this song. This song gets a 5 star rating for the first minute or so. The stars then reduce by te second from "the path" down to a new, lower rating of SHIT stars. The number of stars is shown by a piece of SHIT SHIT SHIT. The overall rating system shall hence forth be known as FUCKSHITFUCK

  • A bit harsh, don't you think?I've been to your channel and you don't exactly come off like Barbara Streisand...how about a more moderate 3* if you aren't hot for the vocals?

  • I would like to retract my 5 star rating. This song is misleading. The brilliant intro lulls you into a false sense of security and the vocalist goes on to ruin your life with his dulciSHIT tones. FUCK

  • Fantastic intro but I can't help being annoyed by the vocalist's accent, which is, undoubtedly the most annoying thing I have everr heard. FUCK

  • that was the dogs do dars guys

  • Good cover, dude the electric guitar solo.

#1 Its gotta have a bit more reverb

#2 IBANEZ IS NOT A GOOD CHOICE FOR THAT EPIC GUITAR SOLO

#3 It was f***ing awesome lol

  • Great, well done guys! Tell me, is that a real Mellotron or a real sampler? Either way, it sounds great.

The guitar-intro is incredible, never heard anything like it (except for Troubleclef)...

    Keep it up guys...

    Alex

  • THE MUSICAL BOX, the only Peter Gabriel era show licensed by Genesis is beginning their fall winter tour in the US and Europe. CHECK THEM OUT....their UNBELIEVABLE. All original staging, costumes, sets and lighting. Don't miss it.

  • This is one of Genesis' most complex arrangements, and these guys really did it justice! Esp.Solo guitar - just brilliant.

  • Very NICE! Good show

  • Dhe Introduction Guitar! Amazing! Beautiful!

Good job with the hole song.

  • wooooooooah thats the ibanez petrucci 4 the last one before he went with the crappy eb/musicman nice touch my favorite song with one of my favorites guitars

  • perfect! outstanding! the best cover I ever heard of Firth of fifth!!! played better even Genesis them self !!! recommended +++

  • I really can't believe anyone has the balls to put down this performance! This is a cover remember. It's clear the band have done their homework on this one, it sounds f***in' great!!! Nice work lad's. Enjoyed it!

  • A truly superb cover of my all-time favourite song. Well done guys. Wonderful intro and great drumming (I should know... that's what I do!). Altogether Awesome. Keep Playing!

  • Ya, the tempo kind of suffers, but I think most of you other drummers out there would agree Phil and Chester are a hard damn act to follow. I'd love to hook up with that guitarist...Amazing!!!!

  • That drummer needs some stamina or a couple of lines of coke, hes totally out of his depth good effort though.

  • It's a very very good Cover of that Genesis masterpiece. It would be so nice to listen Live!

  • Incredible guitar playing.

  • Fifth of fifth for me has one of the best electric guitar solos ever... The drums are played (and must be played) really emotional and kinda stopping the song. Great cover!

  • nice guitar work.

  • I am a huge Genesis fan and Firth of Fifth is my favorite song by them - but Prog's Drummer is AWFUL!!!! He keeps getting off the beat and it slows the band down. I agree with others about the guitar solo, amazing!

  • Brilliant! Best cover I've heard of this epic ... hugely enjoyed the guitar solo.

  • I thought that that was an excellent cover. Still no Genesis, but who could ever perform this song like them?!

  • I thought they pulled this off quite well...Genesis there not, stating the obvious...Mr. Hackett has a very unique way of playing so in saying that the lead did very well...if I had seen them in a club I would be impressed with the way the pulled it off...Genesis is a very sophisticated and complex band not to mention pure genius...I liked it...

  • this is one of the best firth of fith covers on here, clearly based on the archives box set version, not the original studio take. love the way the solo went into harmony at the end.

  • Montreal has a huge prog fanbase

  • Impresionante, me encanta esta cancion

  • "Awesome" 5 stars.

  • I can't believe you pulled that intro of on an acoustic. Amazing.

  • Amazing

  • Very good intro... but what a god-awful singer o_O

  • Sounds great! When the acoustic guitar started I thought he was playing Can Utility. I never noticed the similarity until now and I've been listening to this stuff since christ was a corporal.

I saw these guys last year at ROSfest but I missed them playing Firth. I think we walked in halfway into their set or left early.

  • Great cover of a great song by a great progressive band

  • You guys should check em out... They're called Hamadryad, and they're really good.

  • Awesome intro with acoustic guitar. And the solo is so great. The best Firth of Fifth solo i ever heard!
