Haha, it's obvious that bubufubu never even bothered reading the book before passing judgement on it. Simmons is well aware of his homerism and makes it clear, but is perfectly able to be objective when it comes to anything but his own opinions. Unfortunately, he is missing out on an absolutely fantastic read (that also serves as a wealth of knowledge from numerous sources) purely because of his elitist attitude. Yeah, Shaq playing himself into shape during the season year after year(sometimes not at all) really hurt him historically. For all that, still one of the five best centers ever. But I wouldn't put him ahead of Kareem, Russell, Wilt, or Hakeem.
