ok well im trying to convert my songs in to mp3 or wav for HLSS because it always gives me an error because all my songs are m4a. and when i try to import or look up my songs in my music folder, it would have the artist and the album but it doesnt show the song so there is no way to convert them. Help?

my files never said 'm4a' because i don't use iTunes..they all actually said 'aac', and when i converted them to 'mp3' they came out to be 2 hours long (the actual music wasn't, but the time frame was) and i now i can't burn it to a disc (old school). Is there any way I can fix that?

NO! All this bogus crap! All you need is iTunes.

Go to:

edit (top left corner) > preferences > advanced (tab) > importing (tab) > import using: set it to "mp3 encoder" > click "ok" > left click on a song > click convert selection to MP3.
