@Sasami8 Technically, you can't kill E-coli (Bacteria) by freezing it. Freezing the meat only slows down the bacteria's speed of growth or stops it's growth. But once it's back in room temperature, the bacteria can move again. Only heat kills E-coli that's why they heat it on the stove-ish thing~~~

Food culture is different by a country. The horse is a special product in Kyushu, I never eaten. It depends on place in Japan.
There is the country which a rabbit , a frog a kangaroo eat in Europe and Asia. We do not eat, but do not deny it .

What is gross really just depends on your perspective. While Americans might think horse meat is weird, the Japanese think it is a delicacy. Please don't degrade other cultures by calling their food gross.

i agree with LazyPerson. SOME americans might think its weird but It is a delicacy elsewhere. I personally dont like that some people cook the beef and beef steaks rare (and i can call it gross from MY perspective cuz i tried it) because they think it has best flavor in it. So if you really dont know anything about it dont respond cuz you are degrading other people plus its nothing like making a muslim eat pork which also has nothing of equal value to making a vegeration eat beef.
