The closest Barnes in Noble is 45 minutes away form my house... they seem to be doing pretty well though. I hope they stay in business, because I don't like to order books, and I don't really like the iPad, Kindle, etc

We have Chapters, Indigo, and Coles up here. They all merged into one super bookstore, but now the Indigo and Coles branches seem to be closing. Can't beat the unique feel of a bookstore though.

Ah! Good old Ohio! My home for 20 years now. It is sad to see Borders closing everywhere...one closed nearby, went there for 15 years of my life. I remember getting all my Harry Potter books there at the midnight releases and buying most of my good books there...terribly sad.

Sucks that Borders is closing. My local store recently closed too here in Sydney Australia. It's a real shame cos I used to buy a lot of books from there. I guess I'll have to shop somewhere else this year for my christmas presents this year.

Borders is a pretty good book store, sort of a shame they are closing down.. I have this pretty good place near my shopping centre that sells all these books for only $5 each so i picked up about 2 really good books from there. One was on the myhology and and all the gods/goddesses etc from rome and greece, and the other was a really detailed and awesome book on the romans :D Keep up the vids prince there so awesome.. probably the best out there (or atleast in my opinion and in my sub box) :)

Sad that those book stores are closing down, that's the downfall about online shopping I guess. Here in Belgium, it also happened a while ago with some very cool book stores.

Anyways, great videoblog, this reminds me how much I miss the traditional adventure videos, can't wait untill the summer is over, not because I don't like summer, but because you can make adventure video again! :) Keep it up, my friend!

@741Webster We had two local book stores here, small book stores where you could drink coffee etc. But we have one big one called Standaard Boekhandel and they are currently monopolizing the market. The smaller (local) ones can't compete with that one big one and they have to close.

Where I live there is a locally owned book store, they have a nice reward point system and they will order basically any book you want. But they are still about 20-40 percent higher in price than on Amazon or somewhere like that. It's kinda sad, but books are just one of many brick and mortar business types going under due to better selection, price and convenience of the internet.
