The cop did what she needed to do. You can clearly her at least 3 times where the cop told her to put the knife down. At that time the lady got closer and she did what was necessary to stop the threat. It doesn't matter if she is 20 or 80 a knife is a knife and it can still kill you. The officer wants to go home to her family at night. If she didn't have bad intentions she should have dropped the knife. The officer will be cleared of any crimes. Seems to me that "put the knife down!" is not well-answered by turning the knife hand away and walking toward the officer. Pretty clear that they weren't trying to hurt her, but to get the knife away. If they'd meant to hurt her they're obviously in physical control of the situation right after the knife's been taken, so why didn't they just beat her then? Cops didn't do anything wrong here.
