@january011 The different is just in the sounds. One is deeper than the other, I prefer griet's theme. You just listen carefully and you will be fixed

i loved how, in this film, the light you see in all vermeer's paintings is caught in nearly every shot of it. that takes talent, as does writing music like this :)

Yes, absolutely haunting. There were no sex scenes in this movie, but the romantic tension between Colin Firth's character and Scarlette's "Griet" got THIS CANCER PATIENT (me, unfortunately) up and out of her funk---and her bed. I was really disappointed in some reviews, but, after all, fans are the ultimate critics, aren't we? A small movie, but one that I truly love. (In case anybody cares, my cancer is dead , and I'm feeling hopeful). Griet is a survivor, and I am, too.... I love this.
