im very excited for the new mario games, between the two i think im more exited for super mario 3d land, but its close. also another game thats coming out is luigis mansion 2 which im happy they are making a sequel and i hope its good, and a star fox 64 remake both for the 3ds. i think the 3ds is a step in the right direction, and hope that the u-wii will keep that going for nintendo.

Quite a shame the almighty Super Nintendo is still locked out from the 3DS since GBA was a downgraded SNES with inferior resolution and Atari-like sound while SNES had Sony SPC700 Dolby Digital. The a lot of video that compared SNES to GBA and GBA version of the same games are horrendous!.
That's a releaf for the free games... I was about get really mad when I heard about the price drop the day after I bought a 3DS, but now I'm cool with it.

so, if we buy a 3DS and sign up for the e-shop before august 12, we get to download these games for free. But if we buy a 3DS after august 12, can we still get the games as long as we pay for them or can we not acces the games at all?

@NPStudios303 I'm guessing you'll be able to access 'em, but not for free... basically this is sorta like what Sony did for the PSN people, only this is Nintendo saying sorry for making their 3DS so expensive at first.
I'm glad they did this too, as I was gonna avoid buying a Wii at first and buy the 3DS, but the Wii was less expensive.

So let's say...I could download... Pokemon Ruby Earthbound Zero, Super Mario World, Pokemon Sapphire,Castlevania III: Draculas Curse and all those for free? You don't a have a certain limited amount of games to download for example: I wanted to download Pokemon Ruby but I couldn't because they only have certain games availble.

I just bought my 3DS literally 2 days ago. And I'm... SO EXCITED! I get 20 free games! And I've never played any of the GBA games that they're releasing, so this is my only chance of playing them.

Quite a shame the almighty Super Nintendo is still locked out from the 3DS since GBA was a downgraded SNES with inferior resolution and Atari-like sound while SNES had Sony SPC700 Dolby Digital. The a lot of video that compared SNES to GBA and GBA version of the same games are horrendous!.

@whitetiger6rx I would tell her to wait. The titles that would be offered will be available for around $5 anyway so if you really want a few you can pay for them. It's not worth the immeadiate buy, do what I'm doing and wait until at least August 12nd, hope this helps xD
