Apart from the facts and flagrant lies and myths about East Pakistan secession from the rest of the nation, I wanted to intervene after reading all these hostile comments by our bangladeshi brothers towards us just to bring forth my honest assessment of the whole conflict in which india ripped the fruits they sow two decades ago in unjust distribution of land and resources on the onset of british india partition. Pakistan is the mother country of bangladesh please don't overlook this reality.
And the creation of Pakistan on the idea to unite all Muslims irrespective of their caste, creed or ethnicity still relevant today. We are committed to this very ideology and struggling to gather the strands that were once united before 71. India could not have been much better off with united Pakistan because through this status we confronted them as a force multiplier against their sinister ambitions; they wanted to curtail our wings so that we would never dare to challenge their hegemony.
As it was their innate dream. So indians first objective was to cut Pakistan to the size from where she never dare to create trouble for them. And by taking advantage from the political crisis in East Pakistan they played their cards pretty smartly, with the help of our innocent bangadeshi brothers. So please look at this aspect too before blaming us. Every nation has a right to curb the emerging rebellion within its borders.
And we Pakistanis did the same to protect the integrity of the nation by eliminating secessionist and traitors who sold out their asses to bloody indians. Here is my understanding (I am from Pakistan) Pakistani army really did a genocide in bangladesh although they never admit it . Pakistanis are/were not aware of what happened in east pakistan as media was controlled at that time. This history in never taught to children in Pakistan at all (may be becuase it is so shameful). I am ashamed of our pakistani army actions. People responsible should have been hanged for their actions.
