I am great advocate of chest compressions based upon 33 years experience within the NHS Ambulance Service dealing with cardiac arrests.
The times that we've arrived on scene at a cardiac arrest only to be told by bystanders "I've been doing mouth to mouth" Have they! Due to clinical reasons or the unwillingness to do something, I suspect not!
An opportunity for bystanders to do something, its better then nothing! Don’t be afraid have a go.
