  • They've already done: Outrun, Sega Rally and Daytona USA. I think they should re-make Scud Race and V.R. next, thumbs up if u agree

  • ah old times i remember goin to the arcade when i was 9 and playin this game i always ran out of time now im 16 and i went to the arcade and came across this game and i fuckin aced it ^ ^

  • Sucks that you can't play as the Horse.

  • If we separate the theme on the playing time the other themes are awfull, the game is really quick though and to think that those arcade beasts were actualy needed a huge cabinet with many boards on their hardware to run! and now we have it to our livingrooms thats the most intresting of all.

  • Easiest...Achievements...ever

  • Too bad nobody's online.

  • Enhanced graphics? they are still awful, lucky the gameplay rocks

  • @pulpfictionost

It's better than GTI club+ that they tried to completely build the game engine from the

ground up and it looked worst than the arcade.

SEGA made the best decision to leave the arcade graphics intact its for nostalgia reason and this will please many fans who wanted the perfect port of arcade version.

I'll give Konami another chance to port the real GTI club arcade port...

  • Such a magnificient port... I almost get high on the speed when I play this :) Put the volume super high on your TV or home theater, turn all the lights out and just let yourself be sucked into the TV, so awesome x'D And of course, shake your head to the music. Who needs drugs?!

  • playin this right now XD it's just like i remembered it XD

  • Thumbs up for a DAYTONA 2 port!

  • I've played Daytona in all of its various incantations and I have to say this is streets ahead. It's the best looking home versions hands down & the arcade feel has also been ported correctly. It's only taken 16 years to perfect the home version. I agree with the comments with other Sega titles. Scud Race & Sega Rally 1995 PLEASE...

  • @Robbbobb91 So true, "Pierce" ;)

  • this game is epic and worth more than gold!!...if i had some gold ..i would of swapped it for this original arcade port!...(you lost out sega) :P but ..if i had all the gold in the world and sega never released DAYTONA USA 2 on psn/xbox live then i would be begging to trade all my gold with them!! ...

  • It's hard to finish 1st with this car on max difficulty: ARCADE but the MT car on this is easier

  • easiest trophies ever. took less than an hour to get 100%

  • i remember playing this in the arcades in 2 players..was one of my fav arcade games in about 1993. glad they have redone this for psn/xbl. when its available on the uk psn store i will be getting this...its out on the US store, must be a timed exclusive maybe.

  • Did you know that you can change the music from Original to Arranged in the Options menu before playing this game? You should try it. Just think of it as a Saturn remix of each soundtrack.

  • nice drive man

  • how many tracks just the 1 original?

  • @steveothehulk - Nope... just 3 original tracks and 3 mirror tracks.

  • Remixed music and brand new tracks that is.

  • Its not the Dreamcast version, but it's still better than arcade perfect which is fine in my book. I'll miss the remixed tracks from the DC version though.

  • Daytonaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK YEAH

  • SEGA should port all their legendary arcade racing games in a compilation, and release it physically... No more pop up, online and lan support.

Just thinking about SAGE RALLY, DAYTONA, SCUD RACE, Virtua Racing... Out RUN !!! Should be great.

  • @oldgoodfred I agree, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon. The downloadable media market is really profitable at the moment, so I seriously doubt Sega will release a $60 disk filled with a dozen racing games when they could sell the same games individually online for $10 a pop.

  • @spicyechidna94 I agree with your doubt ;)... Anyway i didn't wait for this port. M2 emu v1.0 is enough for me, and low cost :p The best thing about it is that it is LAN-able.

  • @oldgoodfred

Oh yeah, I totally agree. Sega should release their most awesome arcade racers as downloads for PSN and Xbox live Arcade. Sega Rally 1 and 2, Scud Race, Daytona 2 (oh man, I'd kill for a port of that), Sega Touring Car .... the list is almost endless

  • @oldgoodfred Don't forget Daytona USA II: Power Edition.

  • @oldgoodfred yup i agree too, that would be awesome :D id also love to see Ridge Racer 1 remade from namco, no fancy crap just a HD port of Ridge Racer 1, 1 track oh and online ofc :p

  • Does it support the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel?

  • @FrosChannel yeah dude, and that it's really kickass!!!

  • can it run at 1080p?

  • its stunning!!! 60fps!!!!

  • This version is amazing. I hope i will be able to get a game online soon! The controls are so awesome!

  • @TheUnbiasedGamer Hell, just about everything in this port is awesome. There is even a mode for singing along to the godly broken-English soundtrack!

  • @spicyechidna94 Yeah this port is fucking perfect man!!

  • I've never even seen someone get first place in this game before!

  • I WANT IT BUT I DON'T HAVE MONEY! D:

  • @StickDemonKing Then download the Model 2 emulator, then the Daytona USA roms and play it on your PC.

  • @StickDemonKing

Scrounge up as much money as you can find and put it on your bank account. It should be at least $15 because banks don't feel bad about wrongfully charging people fees.

  • Love the framerate. The other thing I'm seeing is the complete lack of pop-up. I hope Sega keeps porting games like this. I wouldn't mind seeing Sega Rally, Super GT, the first House of the Dead, Manx TT Superbike, Alien Front, Virtua Cop 1-3, Last Bronx, Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder and the list goes on. Thanks for the post. I'll download it right away!

  • @Cavetreasure Sega has a massive collection of games that are in dire need of this kind of treatment. I would love Sega so much more if they put more of their '90s arcade games on the market. :D

  • @spicyechidna94 Well, I purchased the game today and it was great. I love how Sega left the graphics in the same state, but upgraded the resolution. I also think Namco should throw its hat in the ring as well. With the advent of motion controls like the Move I would actually buy it for Time Crisis or especially Crisis Zone.

  • @Cavetreasure Yeah i'm really happy with this port! I wanna see Indy 500, Daytona USA 2, and Virtua racing on top of everything on your list as well!

  • @TheUnbiasedGamer Absolutely! I love those as well. It's great to hear from others who love the classics as much as I do.

  • @Cavetreasure <<<this guy knows whatsup
