  • I tried to implement Scotty's rule at work, and almost surprised my boss about a project being done early, but then she asked about it and I had to say it was almost done. I was so close to being a miracle worker.

  • Key to looking like a badass. Under-sale / over-deliver.

  • Always give yourself a buffer zone on estimates. Always.

  • I like that han solo look!

  • Hilarious.

  • I always loved Star Trek TNG when they had the old characters on. Star Trek Generations was great when Capt. Kirk was in at the last few moments to me.

  • @smcneal057

Yes TNG was really good, but I am not sure about the later ST films - Kirk got killed in a stupid way in Generations, and Picard screaming and shooting at the Borg is a bit weird in First Contact,

  • @mj7649

Agreed. The only TNG movie that was good imo was First Contact. Even it had its limits though. In the movies they began to stray from the original formula of what made Star Trek. The 2009 movie was good to introduce Star Trek to another generation but was not on par with the original Star Trek.

  • @smcneal057 What about Nemesis?

  • @incrowdcynic

AAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!! How could you bring that one up?

  • I'll keep this secret!

  • I love the shades!

  • Yes, TNG, 6th season, episode "Relics".

  • Tagging a little extra time to your estimate is known as the "Scotty Factor" and is a sound engineering prinicpal. I'm surprised Geordi doesn't know that!

  • Yep we call it "Resource Contingency Planning" in our projects but our boss is not buying this BS.
