Too bad sharing the application is not easy as Java: everything needs to be rebuild for each different platform and it is in awful C++. Too bad Java interfaces are not as nice as Qt. Python with Qt would be a great mix I think.

Fantastic! Qt 4.5 is an extremely productive toolkit.
Just keep up the good work and try always to produce as much ISO C++ as possible. This is paramount for a solid basis of compiler and platform compatibilty.
Qt 5.x should be as ISO C++0x-complying as possible!

That statement makes no sense! Most of C++09 is new features not fixes. Things like smart pointers and hash maps have no place in Qt!
