I wear a discontinued Invicta "abyss" model 2688 with gold accents and blue iridescent mother of pearl dial. It is a masculine MOP with hints of forest green and earth tones. I love it! Keeps amazing time too. Inexpensive but no cop out on quality of materials or workmanship at all. ( aside from some very faint machining marks inside the lugs) Just excellent!
The lugs make the strap rather proprietary. Invicta watches are just amazing value for the money. They are worth more than what you pay by a long shot. never sell the basic Miyota 21 jewel unregulated movement short. The time is told everywhere now and it's nice to see people who appreciate mechanical watches. Invicta rules in the value category and I wear a Miyota movement everyday and it gets me to work on time. Moreover, I like wearing a nice watch.
I have two small scratches on my Invicta model #0070. It just irritates me having that on it and I want to get rid of it soon. Do you know what I can purchase from Walmart or some other store to get rid of watch glass scratch. I live in Vancouver Canada. I like how your a big fan of watches.
my problem with invicta is It's not swiss made... Invicta has it's parts made and assembled in china... Swiss watch federation does not even recognize Invicta and they have no known holdings in swiss at all... currently Invicta has a F rating with he better business bureau because of there false advertisement... Not only that but for the price you can beat the craftmanship and designs put into their watches. Invicta is tight, it keeps up with the looks of omega watches but at a cheaper price, Its affordable not cheap, if it was cheap that would mean it cant do anything.
I LOVE INVICTA!!!! I just bought my first Invicta model 5249. I paid only 130 for it. The funny thing is I also have a Movado Tungsten Model:0605992 that I paid over 2500 for it. Now it get more people asking me about my invicta than the Movado. I must admit I wear my invicta more, its a everyday watch, but it turns heads. Invicta makes good quality watches at an amazing price. I own Breitling, Omega, Zentih, Longines and Invicta and I have to say for the money Invicta is nearly impossible to beat.

@em3digital A watch collector admires quality and horology. usually hand made watches with chronographs, minute repeaters, moon phases, date/month displays and even tourbillons. not Quartz watches, that doesn't make you a watch collector. Invicta's aren't bad but are cheap. If you look at a big shiny 50mm $200 "invicta" and juxtapose it with a 45mm $66,000 "A. Lange & Sohne" then you will NEVER buy another invicta again. check out "HouseofRam" youtube channel! thanks for the video!

If it took me 2YEARS to save up $10k, why the hell would I spend it on a friggin' rolex? but, if I were, say, Larry Ellison and had just recently made $1.6 Billion for the year alone, why not buy a ridiculously expensive watch? It seems reasonable compared to people who spend it on diamond encrusted cellphones. even if I spend a quarter of it on charities and another quarter on hookers and cars, I still have $800million and it would start to get annoying.

But you see, thats just it! I am a watch collector BUT I don't buy watches just for the brand name! A true watch collector "collects" many different times pieces just because of the love of watches itself! Lastly, whether expensive or not... all watches do one thing... and thats to tell time!

@em3digital A watch collector admires quality and horology. usually hand made watches with chronographs, minute repeaters, moon phases, date/month displays and even tourbillons. not Quartz watches, that doesn't make you a watch collector. Invicta's aren't bad but are cheap. If you look at a big shiny 50mm $200 "invicta" and juxtapose it with a 45mm $66,000 "A. Lange & Sohne" then you will NEVER buy another invicta again. check out "HouseofRam" youtube channel! thanks for the video!

@You0TubePolice Well I respect your point of view but also, a person buying only HIGH END watches don't make them a watch collector either. In my opinion a true watch collector not only collect high price time pieces but low end models also.... just out of the love of watches (i.e. a watch geek). And personally, I do have many high ends watches but I don't feel the need to mention them here because thats not what my "Watch Reports" are about. Its for the average person on a budget.

@em3digital okay. Just remember that I can't be collecting 1980 Toyotas and Hondas and label myself a "car collector." That would compare me with the Jay Leno's and Michael Schumacher's out ther who hav 1920 Bugatti's and 1940 Ford or Ferrari racing cars. See? It doesn't hav 2 be "high end." people who can afford it don't think of it as that. EVERY automatic watch has a COMPLETELY different mechanical movement from the next. Each one is unique. and that's what attracts collectors. NOT the look!

This watch is a poor copy of a Breitling Bently. Invicta (and others) does this frequently. But they also have plenty of original designs as well.

Yeah its a rough look-a-like but a hell of a lot cheaper then the Bentley. Not to say something is wrong with Breitling (I own two myself) but like I stated "this watch is great for someone who can not afford a high end watch"!
