CBBC continuity is extremely rare, the stuff that people have recorded over the years may be the only example of it. At the time you don't think about saving it at all, you just record over it. Used to love watching the Anorak!
Any clips tho' (of WLTV)? I will have a look through my vhs, as I said, but am hoping someone else has got some.. Chris, if you see this maybe you can help?
Aaah. I might have some, but not sure I can find the tape or have the expertise to get VHS to Youtube! Can't be that hard. Somebody must have some somewhere. Thanks anyway
yes it was. at the time i figured this out because (being the nerd that i am) if you pause the video at 0:26 when the anorak first appears, you can see the left edge of fievel the mouse's hat is missing, which must mean a split screen effect was used. (also wikipedia says so, so it must be true!)
I can imagine that this link would have been pre-recorded to be able to do this. Though it's a fairly easy effect to achieve- I could knock it up myself in 5 minutes in Adobe Premiere. Though of course you have to make sure the camera's perfectly still and that nothing crosses that invisible line.
Great upload of Children's BBC from 1995 vtx264. the programme that was finishing at the beginning of the clip was a drama called The Biz starring Paul Nicholls.
Please could you upload some more Children's BBC from the 1990's.

i thought an anorak was a coat? or does it mean the sort of person who'd actuallt wear one ? (it's not my fault i'm uneducated..i'm American!).

@blunklaura you could describe it as someone who is obsessively interested in a (possibly obscure or unpopular) hobby (e.g. trainspotting)
