  • my man

  • thank you and good nite........luv ya.

  • Hold up, I think the date on this vid is wrong. Didn't Elvis die on August 17, 1977?

  • @mstarnicole3 Elvis died on August 16, 1977. October 3, 1977 is the airing date of the Elvis in Concert Special.

  • Greatness

  • @livingElvis This is very clean copy where did you get this?

  • @ElvisZone The FInal Curtain box

  • @jpsmart59;

jpsmart ? Now if that isnt an OXYMORON, theres no such thing. ASSHOLE...

    2-19-12

  • It is HORRIBLE that this uploader put this on You Tube. Elvis is dying. He is very ill. He needed to be in a hospital, but Parker thought otherwise. . ELVIS would be horrified you put this out there! When he saw this he wanted to do it over. He hated it! General public thinks this is how he always looked. His voice was NOT up to par. 3 songs stood out...PERIOD. Thank goodness EPE will never release this video with Elvis gone 2 months later. ELVIS is thanking them from heaven.

  • 6:26, LOL

  • There will never be another Elvis.

    He is the best.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • NOT the best shows in 1977. Rapid City was very good for '77 but Omaha was ...not! Just imagine what COULD have been if EP had taken the so needed break... Great to see that 35 years after his death, he still is THE KING! No-one will ever change that.....Elvis was and still is just ELVIS!!

  • @InterceptorsaurusYes. I have both of these shows from start to finish on vhs and Omaha is the worst of the two. He slurred his words alot and walked around on stage at times, losing his train of thought. Even John Wilkinson, his rhythm guitaris, said it was his worst show ever. However, i still cherish them being this was his last tour.

  • Damn Elvis, you should laid off the McDonald's hamburgers and chocolate shakes....lol

Oh, you could have had Slim Fast instead...lol

  • @jpsmart59... Ignorance speaks volumes. Elvis was not fat. He was bloated due to health problems and medications. He was maybe 15 pound overweight, which isn't much by today's standards.. The rest is bloat. Elvis was so beautiful for most of his life that he isn't allowed to look less than perfect those last couple of years on earth. By posting this video, it will be filled with ignorant people like this one feeling the need to be mean-spirted toward a wonderful man.

  • Vernon and Gladys should also be in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

    2-11-12

  • Elvis croaked on my birthday.... sitting on the porcelain throne... the king

  • @JerichoDitch2 idiot

  • "Aww, he's such a sexy person" xD

  • God bless Elvis for allowing this to air. EPA released the recordings, but not the video. Didn't look THAT bad did he? The show will eventually come out when things dry up. Live long and stay tuned.

  • @CBSEye i hate to break this to you, but EPE has no intentions of ever releasing this on dvd from what i've read. I think they ought to let the fans decide whats appropriate.

  • This is really interesting to watch . I was only 4 yrs. old when this was on TV. My bed time was 7pm . How sad !

  • com certeza ELVIS IS THE KING, forever

  • Its 2012, and E L V I S is still the KING.

    1-29-12

  • E L V I S, then and NOW, the COOLEST guy that ever lived.

    1-29-12

  • He had such strength of character to go through with these perfomances despite his failing health. He will 'always be the king no matter what' as one fan comments.

  • DRUGS ?? i think they were for CALM his NERVOUSness , i mean LOOK AT THE WOMEN lol

  • Joe Guercio, Elvis' orchestra leader, said the producers of this TV special were "kind to Elvis." If you've ever seen the Omaha and Rapid City concerts unedited, you realize how right he was. I am as big an Elvis fan as anyone, but Col. Parker should have been hanged for allowing this to air on TV. Elvis was sick in the footage, and had died by the time it aired...there was no longer a contract to fulfill. Peter Guralnick's book gives the sad tale of why it made it on air in October, 1977.

  • Thank You for posting it!!!. I had not seen this since it aired in 1977 and I was only 15 years. We want this on DVD.

  • unfortunately, the estate has no intentions of ever releasing this onto dvd.

  • Wow, this is good quality footage. How and where do these surface from more than three decades later??? Where and who has they been hiding them all these years? Elvis didn't look as bad as some idiots wish him to look, just a little overweight and tired, which proves that even superstars have blood running through their veins.

  • He really tried. He was very sick, but he gave it his all....his millions of fans still love him

  • a king ...we have lost, a prince we need,,,elvis presley the king..Andy probyn ..the prince ..lovem both

  • elvis for ever

  • Still love Elvis, he will always be THE KING

  • "Smile You're on camera" @10:35

  • @twostrokeornill1 He's the greatest of all!!!!!!

  • @twostrokeornill1 Close... Actually he says "smile, you're on Candid Camera".

  • @livingElvis Not to nit pick but I just don't see "Candid".

  • @twostrokeornill1 I agree with you, it doesn't look like. But this "See See Rider" version is from Omaha (June 19) and you can see the "candid" there.

  • Elvis forever.

The "King" left the building, but he is in our hearts always.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • God just landed.

  • a little questions, how come this concert started on October, 1977 while he passed away in august, 1977.

  • @ebtitel0000 The date refers to the day the Elvis in Concert Special was broadcasted by CBS TV. In it you can see bits filmed in Omaha (June 19) and Rapid City (June 21).

  • @ebtitel0000 how did he die

  • 4:45 again these modern box speakers.. these things looks identical to the todays techno rage concerts in 2011... these things havnt change they just look too good to be true... cant believe it we still use these speakers just like back then when elvis was still... alive :)

  • on 3:33 its interesting how most things on that concert has not change too much at all to what a new modern concert would be in 2011... look at these oval modern box speakers... these are still used as today on every concerts or at least they look the same shapes and its art style... the metal frames around the stage.... but yeah the one thing i seen change is peoples fashion clothes :0 dunno about the guys with jeans but would had been cool to see elvis presley wearing jeans on stage.

  • Elvis will be the king of music forever.

  • I will have to agree with the general sentiment of the People against Presley's Estate. First of all, REAL Elvis fans like us don't really care if the king HAD basically reduced himself to a Fat, Zombified parody of his former self with nothing left in him anymore by this time. THIS is an IMPORTANT historical document that SHOULD be released on Blu-Ray/DVD. The release should include not just the original special, but both of the complete, unedited Omaha & Rapid City shows as extras, too.

  • @Rockstaralan Fat, zombified parody of his former self? Are you really one of these "REAL FANS" you speak of? He'd put on weight, he was puffy, he was tired and the medications took away some of his "brightness" but his voice was better than ever. And look at his personality and smile, it's still our Elvis...better than ever.

  • @tieppol I agree. He is HOT to me here. I don't know about you people

  • thanks for posting this concert even in parts i know thats l you can do but it is the clearest picture i have ever seen, thanks again sure wish they would release the whole thing on dvd after all these years most have seen this concert well both parts of two seperate concerts made into a one hour tv special, really so clear even the one i bought bootlegged was not as clear as these parts are

  • I love this! I used to have this concert in VHS some 20 years ago ...taped it myself : ) ...I'm so happy I can watch this again on YT!!

And I totally agree - Elvis Presley Estate really should release this officially (it's hardly any secret that Elvis' health was failing...). His performance is absolutely fantastic!!! His voice was always amazing *****

  • @MiaK72 Yeah, but EPE has its mind on the die hard fans and they don't want to see things like they were. To them Elvis never cussed, had bad thoughts about someone or had health issues. Thus, they'll never release it fearing those fans won't like and stop buying their products (I'm sorry to say, but nowadays EPE is more into money than memory preservation of Elvis in my opinion) and that these images won't attract new fans. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • This has to be the best quality of this special I have seen thus far. Thank you for also downloading the uncut concerts! I have been evaluating this concerts in amazement and awe for the last few years and I just don't understand why they won't release it officially. Elvis was obviously not in the best of health, but his performance was still the gold standard as always!!!

  • @MrMatthewScarborough Sadly the Elvis Presley Estate disagree with the fans. They keep saying this had to be in a bolt and never be shown officially because of Elvis' clear lack of health and bad performances. They also state that fans don't want to remember this side of the story, only the healthy powerful Elvis. Thanks for watching and commenting!
