Some P4's actually still have muscle in them. You'd be surprised how well they do over saturated.

They're also pretty reliable, I game on my P4 3.6GHz and it's champ for how old it is. Plus it only cost me $20 bucks on eBay.

9800gt eco 1gb ddr3

1gb ram

HIGH get up to 35 FPS

but almost all the time is at 22 FPS with very sharp drops to 9, 6 FPS

From personal experience, I think the fake video!

GTX 260 core 216 is the clear winner in that price point if you compare it to hd 5770. Plus GTX 260 core 216 is packed with PhysX which ATI cards don't have ... i'd rather get the GTX 260 core 216 than hd 5770 dx 11 pff... not soo impressive it just gives you low high poly gon details wich is not soo noticeable... And with Physx you can feel the envorinment of the game by just looking at it..

PS. PS3 will support for PhysX for the upcoming MAFIA 2.. I dont think Xbox can do it...

HD5770 outperforms the 9800gt, while keeping lower temps and using less power. Unless, of course, you are using a "green" edition of the 9800gt, which is a less powerful version of the 9800gt that also requires less power to run.

Clearly a fake. Even if he had a good CPU, he just couldn't get so much fps with ultra hifh settings and AA 16X. Even a 5970 can't.

With a pentium 4 on top of that, it would have been slow as hell.

I have a Pentium 4 northwood 3.0 HT @ 3.6 ghz with 2 gig ddr400 and a 3850 agp, i can barely run COD 4 maxed out, and crysis is much more CPU dependent than COD 4

@burba67 lol urs is AGP not PCI express besides his is a Cedar Mill CPU which clearly F***s ur northwood P4 and 9800 GT is better than a "AGP 8x" 3850 anyways :P its a real video, me myself have a P4 3.2 GHz Cedar Mill and a 9500 GT i get 20-25 FPS which is playable and COD 4 at max is not that much, so i would suggest to upgrade ur PC i am gonna upgrade in May :P

Yes this would help alot with crysis, but i would recommended upgrading your processor mate :D

But if you are going to get a 9800 i would make sure it is a 1gb memory one, thats the main reason i am getting such good fps with my games :D

I got Pentium 4 with 2 cores original clock is 3.0ghz i overclocked to 3.6ghz. And i got 9800GT 1gb version from Inno3D 2gb RAM and still i cant even play crysis on low with high FPS

yo, im hinking of upgrading my cpu to an athlon64 3400+ (runs like a pentium 3.4ghz, athlons meant for gaming), then overlocking it. then getting a gtx 275 galaxy overlock, then getting 2gigs of pc3200 drr ram, i have already built various high end pcs with core i7's and such (2 that is) but have alot of time on my hands and i bumped across my old cmop, and decided to upgrade it. Since gtx275 is higher than 9800gt in performance, you think ill be able to play crysis like this???

On Crysis warhead you can put it on very high without dx10

I have dx10 mod for my XP, so i can run things on very high, and with crysis, i changed it so when i put it at high, its really very high, but right now im using Ultra High with 16xq AA and gettings like 25-30 without fraps!

i configured the crysis settings in the folders and text documents so high is turned into very high on CRYSIS!

On crysis warhead, you can have it on very high with xp, and yes i have a dx10 mod,

I have textures, post processing and sound on enthusiast but the rest on mainstream. Its possible to run everything on max but once u enter combat the fps drops significantly.
