And no one talks about the horrid and miserable conditions the birds are in; thrown and cramped into tiny cages with, I don't know, 5 at a time, suffering on the drive for hours and hours and hours, in one big stretch, completely stressed out and in pain, with no food, no water.
This is the very first time in their entire, short lives they see daylight and smell fresh air, on their way to their final destination; the slaughterhouse...
@WHATABOUTUS18 I shot this video and helped load these turkeys. These are not your typical factory farm turkeys. They were raised ON PASTURE, meaning they went outside everyday, ate bugs, worms, grasses, basked in the sun and lead very easy lives. This video happens to catch them on the only bad day they ever had.
Actually, farm turkeys often live an overall better life (food, water, shelter, temp control, no preditors, etc) than they would in the wild, where they also routinely flock together tightly. If the turkeys are stressed, they won't eat. If they won't eat, they're worthless. As such, farmers do all they reasonably can to reduce harm or stress.
He wasn't stuck, just lacked traction. You drop the airbags and when they are about half aired back up sometimes get moving. It doesn't take much to get a truck moving as long as it doesn't sink.
After driving a truck for 3 years in wintery north, i say one thing - stupid ass floored the engine and released clutch too sharply. The rig had good traction the first time, but that jackass couldn't handle a smooth start...
@scrimmy6969 was only lookin for a bite mate,im well aware of a roadranger gearbox(or mack twin stick)with rockwell or eaton diffs carrying a 10mtre plus rock body with air tailgate an besides the turkeys in the truck were not the only turkeys on this page,CHEERS MATE,GOOD ANSWER
@d9andy992 you were only looking for a bite?? what does a transmission or diff have anything to do with the trailer wheels spinning?? i guess the turkeys in the truck were not the only turkeys on this page
@scrimmy6969 so u do agree he shouldve engaged the trailer wheels then aye, those turkeys were goin to mcdonalds ,thats where u work as a security gaurd aint it, turkey meats good for u dont u know, hey ma cook me up some more grits
@d9andy992 engage the trailer wheels?? with what you inbred fuck??? his 18x18 low range lever next to the 5th wheel slide??? you have some really clever come backs there mate. i work as a security guard at McDonalds, and your mom is the cashier at night and polishes my "big mac" with that perty mouth.. LOL
OMG THIS IS HILARIOUS. If you would notice while watching this that the driver of the truck is not able to go forward due to NAILING the throttle, AND THAN he puts it in reverse and is able to go backwards because he SLOWLY went....man people are silly sometimes....need to slow down and think :)
Why can it back up without spinning, and spins like an idiot when going forward ?
Stomping the gas pedal only works on ice, when the friction may melt some ice to give you traction. In dirt, the static friction (non spinning tires) is allways better than the dynamic friction (spinning tires) so with less wheelspin you can generate more traction. Its of no use spinning your tires as fast as you can.
how many times do I have to say it, 90%+ of highway tractors only have a power divider and not a diff lock, and highway tires dont have enough traction for any amount of mud. its not a crappy truck or a bad driver, its just a situation that most highway trucks just arnt built to deal with, so if you dont like freightliner fine, but stop talking out your ass because most rigs regardless of make would have gotten stuck in that situation.
@pumpkinheadedsob people that dont drive, dont realize the wieght or the fact you have to drag dead weight on 8 tires that cover a lot of surface area especially when sunk a little. it causes a lot of drag. I wouldnt call them stupid just ignorant about trucks or simple physics.
@johnsenkenn no they dont, it is not a base feature. It is an option like everything else on a tractor, not standard equipment. On certin models of truck it is a standard feature but not most of your economy fleet models. if you had any clue you'd know that.
@johnsenkenn you do know that a power divider and a diff lock are not the same thing. yes all trucks with tandem drives have a power divider. a diff locker is totaly different and usually only found on vocatinal trucks like dump trucks and cement mixers, learn your truck vocabulary.
@pumpkinheadedsob Am I right in assuming thats a double drive? (Judging by the wheelspin) I guess I'm lucky with mine. (The centre axle on the cab will lift, to give me more weight through the drive axle.) But no amount of weight will get it ouf of that mud.
if that was my trucked id punch him right in the fuckin nose holy fuck how high was he revi that thing DIFF LOCK idiot and why was there like 5 guys tryin to push a frieght shaker with a 53 ft chicken coup did ya think it would move idiots
I feel sorry for all you drivers that has no clue to driving big-rigs or other large trucks..... go easy on the throttle and you should be able to get things rolling much easier. the more you rev. your engine the more stuck you get.
keep on truckin`
