I just recently heard that he may come back as a New God... Don't know how true that is, but it sounds like an interesting premise. Though they'd be completely destroying Batman, for me, personally.
Bat as a Black Lantern would be hot and a little more believable only because he's donned a lantern ring before. But, it should only be temporary though... A Bat with powers? Completely changes popular culture. Lol.

I hear you. It'd be too much for me too... Though I don't completely agree with a Superpowered Batman... then there'd be no need for his amazing vehicles, awesome utility belt or his keen deductive intellect.
It would be a nice change from the norm though. He wore a Lantern Ring once, as far as I know for the duration of 2 comic panels and he appeared powerful, so it's not a stretch to give him powers. What would ruin him, is allowing him to keep those powers indefinitely. I think.

I just automatically thought that if he came back as a Lantern, it'd be as a Black Lantern.
But, I still stand by my no-powers Batman... Give him Temporary Lantern abilities so he can strike fear in the hearts of evil men long enough to reestablish himself as a threat to crime, then, turn him back into ol' Utility Belt slingin' Mr. Wayne. Lol.

We all now Bruce is going to return and be Batman agein. A men look at Hal Jordan , and Barry Allen they came back and were second rtaters on the DCU. On to the story i Liked Batman RIP, entertaining, well drawn, although not a landmark , perhaps it would have beeen better to leave things with an open ending as RIP ended , no knowing wether bruce was deade or alive for a year or so.
Final Crisis is a different thing, mediocre series, iti is a shame Batman died there, not the way but were

How many times has Batman "appeared" to be dead but somehow comes back to life because of an "ancient martial arts technique to make his spirit leave his body" or some gadget that he has attacked to his belt to bring him back after a certain period of time. Batman pretty much is a visionary on everything. He isn't dead and will be back in a few years

Batman's spirit will somehow be reunited with his body because he is not truly ead, if he was he'd be in heaven like superman was. And besides if superman prime can warp or break reality with a punch, then I dont see how can you not bring superman back.

I actually thought about this for a bit.
Here's what I came up with:
#1 - Corporate funding or a pool of group assets could cover the +50 million US that would be needed.
#2 - It takes 10 years to become an expert in any given field (minimum even for geniuses) so age 19 - 29 for training.
#3 - Batman had an IQ over +150.
About 0.01% of the population has the mental abilities, 6.7 billion people means that 67 thousand are smart enough - try Japan China India.

Problem with that reasoning is that he has done flagrantly superhuman things in both comics and animated and film adaptations. He has dodged bullets from point blank rangem fought hundreds of armed assailants single handed and claimed to be able to do so for hours more. I can go on. The thing is that even if you did/were all those things- you would still likely get gunned down. The Batman is better trained than any human can possibly be,
