  • i have problem with rear braking i want to buy new one but i dont no wat kind rear brake i need becose my car have EBC can u tell me pleasee ?

  • Very good tutorial! BTW my knuckes don't damage easily :)

  • you should put your tire under your car, so if the jack breaks the car will still be held up.

  • You should not be wearing a watch when working on your automobile.

  • What kind of gloves is he using? I used to use Micro Flex Evolution One, but they're getting hard to find.

  • @cri8tor Is there any difference between changing your front and rear break pads?...Ive done the fronts before...

  • Hey Wdd4lif3

    About the break pads.

I don't know too much about replacing them, but I do know that some cars have disk breaks in the front and drum breaks in the rear. Most shop manuals or Haynes manuals give the best tutorials on removing and replacing parts. It's worth spending the money if you want to do it right and know you're doing it right. I hope that helps.

  • he sure likes to talk.. great!!

  • mark blocker is the man

  • This is probably one of the better Expert Village videos that I have seen.

  • Thats not the point. He's trying to teach more than taking out 2 bolts. Some people dont know anything about working on cars.

  • @jdubb408 it took him long to take those bolt out because he wanted you to understand how to do it the right way. :D

  • Stay out of the path of injury.....!!

Once I saved my buddy's head from being crushed under the wheel well... Neither him or his buddy notice the car start to lean forward. I wasn't even helping them.. I just happend to walk by when I saw the car start to lean..

I was just barely able to pull him out.

They had NO backup..... no jackstands, no wooden blocks, not even an old wheel under the car.... And all of this happend in front of his mom....... I'm just glad I saw it in time.... :)

  • do the callipers need to be removed in order to change the pads on all vehicles?

  • nope, buy a repair manual for your car

  • i love expert village.there is one problem though. most topics they duscuss here requires several videos, like this video, under the changing caliper topic. it would be A LOT easier, and organized, if they put step #'s in the title. in that way, we could avoid watching videos in a very randomly fashion.. i hope expert village will do something about it. afterall, you are the experts!
