I replaced the pcv valve, cleaned the IACV, cleaned the throttle body, ran seafoam through the brake booster vacuum, and it got a lot better, but the underlying problem still exists... Any other suggestions?
This is a 1991 Honda Accord LX Automatic. Runs fine while it's driving but when I come to a stop the idle is erratic, and the car has completely cut out on me a few times at red lights when I stop and leave it in gear. If I'm stopped and I shift into Neutral, the idle smoothes out a lot, but still stumbles here and there. It also kind of hesitates when I first step on the gas, but smoothes out once I'm up to speed....Any ideas???
have you read the check engine codes? what do they say?
