@EternityInValhalla no it is not dishonourable... nor should it be, its called survival, you can say its dishonourable if it should be a 1v1 combat, but this... is war, and there are no rules, the smartest, and the strongest survive... and they kept their formation, this shows that they where properly trained, and sorry prick deserved the beatin :))

@One4seen no stabing, no hits bellow belt ... you die when you fall...you fall cuz you want to , or becuase they make you fall... hope im not mistaking

@One4seen most commonly the rules are that if you were hit 3 times, you're dead, stabbing is allowed on the body, but not on the head, and usually any projectiles (arrows, javelins) are forbidden in full contact (not correographed) battles

Are weapons swung at full power? In a bunch of the videos, you see participants running around without any form of protection, and I was wondering how they get through without broken bones or internal injuries. O_o

@TheDawnRaven Seeing no armour doesn't mean there is none, I know lots of reenactors that go into battle with protection jackets (for example motocross protection) and wear their tunics over them. I think that's actually pretty cool, because visitors and tourists can see that back in those days many men didn't have armour... :D

we are trained in using them safely although russian and polish have a reputation of not handling them so safely but well thats what we are protected for

weapons are real but safety first. If you dont know the rules you cant be in the fight. We are there to have fun, not to hurt eachother, but shit happens :)
