  • I'm having severe pain (for 5 years - it started when I was limping because of an operation of one of my knees) at the described place - especially at night when I'm lying on my hips. And I'm asking myself what it could be. I bought a special mattress but it doesn't help much. Couldn't knock knees cause a Trochanteric Bursitis too? Nothing swollen is visible. But the pain during the night is extreme... I came across another illness that causes pain in this region: Meralgia Paresthetica
