Everthing is wrong with it! First of all, are your parents, grandparents, and your ancestors ever a Christian? Being Khmer is being a Buddhist, and being a Buddhist is being Khmer! The connection is always richly and traditionally intertwined- you cannot have one without the other. You must have both to call yourself REAL Khmer; otherwise, don't call yourself Khmer, and feel free to practice what you want, because after all it's a decision you have to make ... just don't ever feel any regrets!!!
