Hi , I have a question . Im a 16 years old Baritone and i have like 3 octaves of range ( I started with 1 and half but i really practique all the time) My range is . (C2 to B4) but i want to have at least 1 octave more , i have problems of tension , and is ridiculous but is too hard to me to put my voice in to my Head Voice. I'ts possible to have a easy D5 at least? .
Just wanted to thank you on all the vidoes you have provided, this one really helped me out, as i was having trouble with strain and higher notes. After trying this a few times i seen really good results, i could easily hit higher notes without any strain at all. Thanks for the tips.
thanks man it helped allot i after this vid i looked at who's loving you because i have to sing it at school I'm able to hit those high pitches thanks again u earned another subscriber
I really wanna thank you. I've been a choir member before and stopped singing for several years. I was a Male Soprano before, but after puberty mu voice changed a lot! And for me, when I was a kid, singing is really an effortless thing. Since I stopped singing for like 10 years, I really can't sing that well compared before. Thank God, I found your vids, IT REALLY HELPED A LOT! IT IMPROVED MY SINGING! IT REALLY DID! :) I sing high notes now, EFFORTLESSLY. :))
i got phlegm in my throat that wont go away, i dont have a cold or anything, but feels like somethiings stuck in my throat thats preventing me to learn this :(
@daotkaayo That's usually a result of poor singing technique. As your technique gets better, and you're not causing friction or strain, you should see a reduction in the phlegm that's being produced.
wait i dont get it like do u push the thumbs towards your throat if the swalling muscle thing happens? i did nay nay nay n all n i just dont get it like idk its weird
@98roflol You don't want to push on anything! You simply place your thumbs there to feel if your swallowing muscles are engaging during singing. Never push on anything while singing.
Ok just tried it and I heard the difference! Now to try it with a song though. I prob sound thick here but what am I suppose to do when I try it with a song?
@JessMurgatroyd When doing this with a song, don't sing the words, but rather keep singing the song with the "Nay, Nay's" in place of the words. It's important to keep all the "Nay's" sounding exactly the same and focusing on the sound being in the forehead.
This is just great. I was sitting here watching your videos, tried to sing for a minute. But as usual it didn't come at all naturally or relaxed. So I went back to your older videos, and vióla, here it is! If I just could relax when I sing, I'd probably not have to be embarrased of my voice... I'll keep on practising! :)
Omg, thanks so much :) I have a song with notes that are high and I could never hit them because my swallowing muscles always got in the way. I always thought I had to sing them really loud to get them out, but I was wrong lol.
I get feeling the swallowing muscle thing, but I dont get how we are supposed to prevent it from coming down? Are we supposed to push it back up or is it just a feeling kind of thing, like how you explain how to whistle?
@woodsgirl3 You never push! With practice and producing sound in a different way, you will eventually dis-engage the swallowing muscles with your singing technique.
@SingingMadeSimple so when your saying not to push, do you mean when you do the exercise you should feel relaxed, well your swallow muscles should be feeling relaxed, not hard, or is it the other way around, making my swallow muscles hard, i'm sorry if you answered this in the video, i have to skip a bunch of what your saying before my brothers attack the computer, please reply, my dream is to become a beautiful voiced singer thank you...
@AnaaFTW You should yawn with your thumbs under your jaw so you can tell what the swallowing muscles feel like. You don't want that feeling when they are singing.
everyone tells me I'm a really good singer but I always have trouble with hitting high notes. I'm definitely going to try this. I hope it makes a difference.
Woaaahh ... I never could sing the higher note songs, and now I can because of you. I feel so happy I could cry. It may sound silly, but you helped me soo much, thank you so much! <3
@SingingMadeSimple I see that this is working for so many people so i really, really want to try it, but i still don't understand how to stop or some what prevent those muscles from moving. Can you please help me with some tips?
im confused as i use those exact muscles to hit high falsetto notes, under my chin controls the volume so it doesnt go to loud... its like i use these muscles to anchor on to gouge out high falsetto notes., please explain
@stebolian Your question isn't really clear, but it sounds as if you're using your placement to control your sound. Regardless of how you're doing this, we always want to stay away from having those muscles involved.
@SingingMadeSimple sorry i forgot to mention this is when im singing falsettoish notes that my full voice cant reach, the physiology is different in my falsetto and full, they both use different muscles i think
@stebolian ok, maybe im zipping my cords, i dont know any other way to make the sound higher without some muscles adducting my cords, i may be confused, if i just go loose i will blow airy sounds that dont seem supported by anything, and dont reach as high, , but my voice does not to go hoarse ever and i sing gigs twice a week, i could go high by staying loose, but that means louder and more air to me, ???? might need a tutor
please tell me the Online training site that comes with the course,Is that something I can use for as long as I need it,or is there a time limit for the use of it?

I'll look forward to having the opportunity to teach you. I actually have a DVD training program, which is more affordable than private lessons, and it's actually available for the rest of the day. It won't be available all the time, and you get to send me personal video for critique. If you're interested, let me know immediately. The program is $197, but you can split it into $59 payments.

Thank you! Make sure that you have all your friends subscribe to the channel, so that they can benefit too. All the Best,
