The two things that irritates me about the defense are the missed tackles and guys not playing til the whistle blows.

It's great you noticed the Huskies and Jake Locker for playing a good game, I noticed you mentioned the roughing the snapper call but failed to mention Polk's touchdown being overturned (without disputable evidence he didn't get in the endzone) or the two point conversion where his knee was down before getting in the end zone either of those plays would be game breakers.

USC is gonna destroy the Irish by at least 24 points. Mays and their Starting QB will make life tough for ther Irish.

Not whining Fusion, I am not a Uof W alum.........just a football fan. Notre Dame was lucky to escape with a win today. I will be back on here after the USC game to check out the comments. I will either eat crow or say I told ya so. I hope you dont cry too much after ND gets beat by at least 24. Your QB might get knocked out of the game because the USC defense is that punishing. Lucky? Really? That many goal line stonewall stands is lucky? Notre Dame Haters errrr..... football fans can't be that petty. I heard the same thing about watching out for the Huskies cause they beat USC. Remember this is with the second string running back, Our monster wide reciver gone and our QB playing hurt. You and ESPN can call it luck, but after 3 straight games I call it hunger, grit, and guts.

USC could very well win by 24 - if they bring their A game and we bring our C or worse game. A game versus A game, it would be closer than you'd expect, somewhere around a 1-2 score game, more than likely. ND has not played a full A game this year with the possible exception of Nevada.

With that being said these guys on the USC defense like to level people even if they are out of bounds, late hits etc. Some of these guys on USC's defense have the Oakland Raiders mentality of the past where being a tough guy is more important then the final score. When the Huskies ran their last play before the field goal to win the game A USC player made a vicious hit and started celebrating premature.

ND played with a lot of heart today and earned the OT win.

Clausen is developing into one fine leader and is beginning to earn some Heisman attention. Tate and Rudolph continue to make plays.

The Hurricane Thug fans have earned their reputation.

You can ask any of the ND fans how they were treated by those Thug fans the last time we were down there at the Orange Bowl in '89.

I took my son to see the nd washington game. we are washington fans. we were treated like shit by nd fans. i just wanted to watch the game in peace. but i couldnt.. my 11 year old son could not enjoy the game . so many nd fans yelling bad words at us.its just a football game u talk about miami fans irish fans are no better

If this is true this is the first I've ever heard of that kind of experience @ ND. I was at the game (right near the UW section, as a matter of fact), and saw/heard nothing of the sort. If you are truly disappointed, I am sorry. But you also have to understand that people are not going to speak the way you do in your house at every event you go to.
