  • these guys would be great if they performed their own music, but no one is qualified to cover queens music, sorry guys.

  • in Italy we have the Regina...ahahaha they are ridiculous compared with gary mullen

  • I saw the show in Dallas and it was amazing.

  • Sorry folks but I think Almost Queen is better. They are closer to the sound of Freddie and the voice is closer as well. Check out Almost Queen.

    then decide.

  • is there anywhere to purchase a full length copy of this show?

  • on exactly 5.00 he hits the high notes so fucking perfect he is freddie mercury in disuise........this guy is mint and his band,i saw them in newcastle and couldnt believe my eyes and ears.....theyre a must see queen tribute band

  • why do all these queen tribute acts only put on a show based on the look and sound of queen from the magic tour 1986?????? bring on a band who will tackle the look and sound of queen from the 70s !!!... there is so much more to queen than a kind of magic and radio ga ga !!!!!

  • saw these guys last week, got some great videos of them, check out my favorites on my channel to see, they are just awesome!

  • This video doesn't represent all the atmosphere and his funny talks to people and interacting with audience! It was amazing night! Lights and effects were amazing! His voice and performance absolutely fantasic! He got all the people dancing and singing! Everybody went wild! Unforgetable night! I will definetly see them again!!!!! Recomend it everyone!

  • @lady3096 I agree totally, absolutely brilliant performance by all of them, I would love to see him front Queen as a one off that would be great. I was at Preston concert, what a tribute to Freddie and Queen, I thinking of going To see them again next weekend at Southport

  • The best Queen tribute ever! People were dancing and singing! His attitude on stage is similar to Freddie! And yes had th audience on the palm of his hand!

  • Not To Brag Or Anything But My Uncle's The Bass Player =D

  • @KGxRFC he does a fantastic job to be apart of a band keeping the memory of Freddie and Queen alive, your right to have some bragging rights lol. Hope you feel the same as most of the comments on here, they are brilliant.

  • @KGxRFC ps can you find out if their dvd is still available, I didnt see it on offer at Preston ? be gud if you cud thnks

  • @thiseldo Thanks for the other comment and am not really sure because there had been alot of 'change' recently in management and am not sure if there still doing ALL the merchandise.

  • fantastic

  • This isnt a show for children. it is rather disturbing the things Gary does on stage, i dont like it at all i walked out early... good talent, bad show...

  • @SidsBlog get a life great show

  • @killieguyno1 Im sorry, but you cannot tell me to get a life, when you are the one going to watch (out of choice) a queen impersinator... Anyway, i was expressing my opinion which I am entitled to so if you dont have anything nice to say.... dont say it.

    Prick

  • @SidsBlog yes i do and he was great really got into the character..and my kids loved it ya cunt

  • @killieguyno1 I really dont think that language is appropriate... And plus, Gary makes a lot of sexual references not suitable for a child audience... In my own opinion i think it was bad, and odd. I expressed my opinion which i am entitled to do. If people want to ignore it they can!

  • @SidsBlog yes everyone has a right to an opinion but you started it calling me a prick.. is that appropiate language??

  • @killieguyno1 I knew you would say that... But surely calling someone a prick is not as bad as calling someone a C***?

  • @SidsBlog swearing is swearing no matter how bad the language

  • @killieguyno1 There is a difference, if you called a teacher a prick, you would get into trouble... if you called them a c*** you would get if lots of trouble.

  • @SidsBlog im sure whatever word was used would get you expelled

  • They are fantastic! I'm sure Freddie would like it!

  • WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nessuno può imitare freddie!!!!è peggio di una bestemmia qst video!!!

  • I saw Gary Mullen & The Works in Tyler (Feb '10) -- wonderful night! No, no one could replace Queen -- but it's great that they keep the spirit of the band going. If you're a fan of Queen and you get a chance to see ONoQ: do it! Best Queen Cover band ever!

  • Nobody can ever replace Freddie.(seen them 2 times)

But anyway i did see this show yesterday at luxor in Rotterdam.

And its simply a great show!

Its not the real thing but it come's very close.

Its a very nice and amusing.

And they got the audience out of ther seats!!!

    It was Fun!!!

  • I"m going to see him in Eindhoven 29 September :D

  • Saw him live a good 5 + years ago thanks to a free ticket going, best tribute band I've heard.

  • his voice is great, reincarnated freddie mercury, more power to gary mullen

  • that freddy is amazing

  • have you heard the expression: "live your own life."

  • He moves just like Freddie... But I think a Queen tribute band should not cover Queen exactly. It is too hard for the singer to be like Freddie. In my opinion he imitates Freddie too much..... But he is a really great singer....

  • How about some of the guitarist?...it WAS (impersonating)

Brian Frikkin' May! ,,it's not that hard to get a perm..

  • no!no!stop this shits! no more freddy after he die!

  • wtf ?

  • ONE VISION

  • what song is that at 4:00?

  • @knueven5150 SHAME YOU!

  • one vision

  • @knueven5150 just a guitar solo

  • saw them in louisville and cincy

  • this guy moves like freddie, sings just like freddie and puts a smile on my face the same way freddie does..... this guy is probably the best musical impersonater to ever live in my opinion

  • Saw them at House of Blues in Houston, yesterday! I'm not a real Queen follower, but the concert was great! I think it's true that Gary Mullen sounds great live and the recordings on youtube don't do him justice. The group had great energy as well!

  • giod i hope they play this in houston this weekend

  • Saw them this past Saturday night this was an Awesome show They made the rockin world go around!

  • Saw them last night...genuine tribute to a great band. Bravo!!

  • He moves like Freddie, but thats about it...

  • This video doesn't do Gary Mullen justice. The live concert is WAY better than the poor sound quality of this video!

  • i hope they do every single event venue in newcastkle.the metro radio arena, city hall, journal tyne theatre,O2 academy, the sage in agteshead and ST JAMES PARK!!!!!!!!

  • I hope they do another US tour. I saw them in San Antonio and it was incredible.

  • They're doing one alright,I checked their site.

  • Well I saw him in Holland last night due to the fact that I was over there on businuss and he happened to be playing in the theater next door to my hotel. (I thought that it would be better than staring at the hotel room walls) I've seen the real queen 5 times so I thought that I would not enjoy it, but I was very surprised. He has a great voice and was entertaining. OK he's not Freddie, they are not Queen, but it was good fun and it was well worth the entrance fee!

  • Buy into what...?

  • Morgen (26/09/09) heen.

    Ben heel nieuwsgierig

  • I'm going there in a couple of weeks, very excited to go!

  • Saw them live last night, awesome! the closest i can imagine to seeing the real thing nowdays :)

  • he looks more like JIM HUTTON than to FREDDIE MERCURY!!! :D :D :D

  • i totally agree

  • Comment removed

  • Hmm,....his voice is really really good, very close to Freddie..BUT Garry has his own voice and evrybody hears that...I don´t understand why so many think he sings like him! When he hits the high notes, I agree, but when he sings the lower notes there´s nothing left fro Fred -.-

  • @BohemianMate Yeah, you can really hear the difference. Gary still has a fantastic voice though.

  • he's got those Freddie movies down

  • algo que nunca crei ver un tipo que canta como freddy

  • Buena imitación de la voz de Freddie, pero me pregunto si cuando éste tipo se vé en video haciendo ésos movimientos,no se siente un poco pelotudo..

  • I'm giving him credit for his effort, but Freddie had the voice of a thousand band instruments in one, take out all those stuffs and Freddie's powerful vocals will still move the earth! Freddie Mecury is immortal!

  • this tribute band is excellent, i seen them last year in a small theatre in lowestoft and i was amazed by how good they were, mullen is an excellent entertainer and really gets you as close to the original queen as possible would defo go see again, this vid really does no justice trust me watch them live and they will well and trully rock you!!! keep up the good work guys :)

  • Give some much needed respect to gary mullen, the guy wud have been a superstar had freddie died as a kid

  • Are you kidding me?.. Freddie is known for his singing yes, but remember Freddie become a superstar becuse of writing Songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, The Show Must Go On and all the other great songs, i dout Gary whould come up with those songs, so he whould be a superstar like Mercury. Garys voice is great, maybe he whould be famous if freddie was never born, but not as near the fame freddie has!

  • a lot of these songs are wrtitten Brian May!!

  • no-one will ever sing like freddy or command the audience like him!!!

  • I'm of to see them tomorrow at the Grimsby Auditorium!

  • Freddie is better

  • Gary and the band are amazing!!! They no how to rock an audience!! Highly recommended!

  • this son of a bitch has the same voice as freddie

  • no, this man has the same voice of Freddie!!

  • these guy got queen down pat, great talent too.

  • I saw them in Ft. Lauderdale, FL last Friday and it was better than I expected. This show is AWESOME live! All of them were great; the guitar player is fantastic! Gary Mullen is great with the audience. I had a lot of fun. Too bad they didn't perform more songs.

They are doing an amazing tribute to the eternal Freddie Mercury and Queen.

  • i saw them on valentines day in illinois and the frontman was the most amazing ive ever met, he actually told the parents to let us kid get drunk lol (during the intermission) and then he called a woman up and she came andhe asked her if she was drunk and when she replied "no" he goes ,

well why the fuck not?" lol

and he was very sexual with his mic lmao

  • awesome show last night. Dead on ringer for Freddie Mercury

  • i got tics for this thurs in lakeland fla. I was wondering if the show you saw was sold out or close to it? When I bought tics just the other day, the show was not even half way sold and the balcony was not even gonna open. All I know is that I love what I have seen on the net about this show and it is a shame more folks arent going. Maybe there is no market for it here. What a shame, I know Im gonna love it!

  • it is very great! they don't mind if you go on stage either and dance

  • you guys kicked jersey ass thursday nite thanks!!

  • Sold out in Ft. Pierce. Lakeland being Country and Western town doesnt surprise me a Queen tribute band did poorly there.

  • OMG!!!! It was so GREAT!!!

  • These guys are good but Queen For a Day from Dallas are much better.

  • Why does.nt know we Queen For A Day , if they are so good , I never heard of that band

  • Comment removed

  • Possible,, this was the second tour , they had played in Pan American Center , where stars has played like Elton John, Janet Jackson, and Garh Brooks, If you don't like them , so what , a lot of peopls like them already!

  • look at the video one night of queen ( live) from kornemuz, her on YouTube, the guys of queen for a day loves this band, look at their reaction!!!

  • This guy & the band sound great!

Haters stop bitching, this is the type of respect Queen deserves.

  • We got tics from our friends...second row....god bless Lou and Mick......I saw Queen the first time they where in Madison WI.1978...They backed up REO....my other fav band.....BUT......Queen....KICK THERE ASS.And I went too see them 9 times after that......LONG LIVE QUEEN

  • I saw these guys at the state theatre in Easton PA, it was awsome. He signed my t-shirt, and made fun of my best friend. It was awsome.

  • I wasat the State theatre too.. yes , AWSOME.. I saw it last year too .. and will probably see it again...

  • I saw these guys in Houston this past weekend. They had a packed house and the are an excellent tribute band. I was quite impressed. It's not Queen, even Queen + Paul Rodgers isn't Queen. But these guys were very entertaining.

  • i was there too i freaking loved it i got to take a picture with him and my friend after the show and i got to talk to him for a while...he's a pretty cool guy

  • I saw them last night at Fort Worth's Bass Hall. A nice little opera hall downtown. These guys are an amazing act. Gary Mullen has Freddie down pat. He sounds like Fred 90% of the time. I'm pretty sure only Freddie sounded like Freddie 100% of the time. Also the band can in no way sing like Queen could. Roger's falsetto was totally missed last night. BUT we still enjoyed the show. I saw Queen live five times so I knew what to measure against, They're NOT Queen but what a tribute these guys are.

  • I think anybody who pisses and moans that these guys are not EXACTLY like Queen are paying Queen a huge insult. Queen was lightning in a bottle. They were a band that happens once every hundred years. A bunch of guys just can't go off and practice and become as good as one of the greatest bands to ever walk the earth. Gary Mullen is a great Freddie IMPERSONATOR. Get it? He's not Freddie nor is his band Queen. If you want to have a ton of fun and hear some great music, check these guys out.

  • Still upset...and can't stand to listen for more than 5 minutes.... Lights, sound, and acting are great, but the music and vocals aren't close enough. Too many liberties with the melodies. I'm still searching for the real deal from a Queen Tribute Band. You have to do more than act like freddie to impress me. Roger and Brian were such a major part of this band's creativity and sound (especially in the studio). I want more than the spirit of Freddie. I want the spirit of Queen on stage.

  • You fool!

This is what Brian and Roger said about this band:""This is the only show, so far, that we really recommend to our fan-club.We accept en respect the great extraordinary quality of this concert-show with the voice of Gary Mullen who has won a competition as Freddy Mercury in a tv- show....".

Plus this man has got a platinum record of EMI ,de record company of queen for his wonderfull versions of their songs!!

  • ONe of the first people to give Gary acclaim was Queen themselves, who were so blown away, they presented Gary with a gold disc of one of their albums.

  • saw queen 5 times taking my niece to see them in march she needs to hear what i heard at 12 years old i was awestruck with freddie gary is stunning true queen fans cannot believe the voice of this man thanks gary

  • I've seen him live twice nd he was very good !

  • i went to see him and he bloody rocked the house

  • Puta que pariu, nunca vi um cover tão perfeito!

Só não é 100% por que não toca piano, mas a voz e o jeito...é Freddie Mercury Vivo!

  • muerto el rey se quedan las putas !

  • This guy is really good... but why not try to behimself, rather than impersonating a man who's fans dont want him to be replaced?!

  • A whole lotta people love this, they have already their own fanclub and fan website

  • Because the guy is probably making a rather nice living doing this. Most good tribute acts make about $200k a year. :)

  • awesome video

  • wonderful!!! nice job!!!!

  • freddie no cantaba siempre tan grave

  • Hes Brilliant! I want to go see him! I wish i could of gone to see the real freddie tho :(

  • Next year they return to the States for their second tour.

  • you're not as good as he is!!!you're jealous!!

  • i saw quenn 5 times i have a queen tattoe on my body i am very upset when people try to put them down their concerts were the best you will ever hear ... freddies voice live was as true to new queen with with the bad company singer is an insult to freddie and his memory they said they are not in it for the money bull.... thanks john deacon for not being apart of that circus boycott those tour dates your getting ripped wanna see close to queen gary mullin one night of queen youtube check it out

  • @zannybaba freddie said Paul rodgers was his favorite singer-do you think he wouldnt love it?

  • Excellent attempt at achieving the impossible-there will only be on Freddie-but this is a damn good effort

  • I have seen Gary a few times now in concert he is the best Freddie so far

  • Freddie was the best but Gary keeps the legend alive ROCK ON

  • Saw Gary in Auckland NZ a couple of years ago and he was brilliant.

  • Gary - you are FANTASTIC! The BEST!!!!!!

  • fantastic he is. freddie is the best

  • But on stage, Gary is the best, because you can't see Freddie live anymore.

Thats why so many people loves One Night Of Queen, he sounds so similar like Freddie

  • its so sad freddies not around anymore but gary is as close as you will get,i`m off to see him later this year.

  • Hello All.. Saw Gary and the Works last Saturday night in Salisbury UK... I wasn't sure what to expext..but hey.... was far far better than I thought it was going to be... Live ...it is better than this video...Really good fun night out Thanxx

  • me and my Husband were at the same show in salisbury for our Anniversary, he really is brilliant, i so ehjoyed it and would deff go back and see him

  • Dear Gary:

Thank You for continuing the Legacy and doing Freddie and the band Total Justice! You must be Proud, and it must be a Great Honor to follow in the footsteps of The Greatest Singer/Musician/Performers of this Century.

I think Freddie would be Impressed as much as I am ;)

Wish we could get you to Tour Canada!!!

    xo

  • i love queen and i think there will never be another freddie mercury. but i must give this guy credit where credit is do great performer and his voice is close to freedie. but ihave a question to gary, when are you coming to the states love to see you live?

  • Why don't you ask it on his Q&A-session, here on You Tube, his channel is GaryMullenAsFreddie.

  • he was brilliant!ive been to c him twice now over the past few years!he is one of the only good performers that actually comes and plays in Dunoon (in the west of scotland)!i love queen (i am 15 years old)and i have grown up with my parents always playing the albums!and im glad they did!i love queen so much!

  • Really I think, that this guy is a perfect performer, but... Freddie is incomparable and no one will replace him ever!!!

  • man you are amazing really great!!!

  • I am a massive Queen fan and there can only ever be one Freddie but I must give this guy his due he is not trying to replace freddie or he would be touring with brian and rodger instesd of Paul Rodgers he is a tribute act and for that he should be aplauded and thanked for helping keep Queen and their music alive so I will go and see him in september and let you all know how it went

  • WOW! this quy is great! I'm going to see "One Night Of Queen" next year. Haha I'm so lucky

  • Thanks for your kind comments. I will be doing a video Q&A session on youtube soon. If you or your friends would like to submit a question please do so via my channel. Looking forward to talking to you all.

    Gary Mullen

  • you rock man!

  • I am obsessed with Queen. I love them and Freddie...its all I listen to..I have really never heard any better than you...I mean it..listened tonight to everything on youtube you sing..amazed in rhode Island usa..

    wow great cant believe it...really...sigh...

miss Freddie...long time fan..would love to see you in person..are you touring in usa?

  • there can only be 1 freedie

  • yes,I know that there's one Freddie, but this one is alive and kicking!!

  • Freddie is king, but this guy is a fantastic impersonator AND YOU KNOW IT.

And although I think Freddie is a better musician because he wrote the songs and played great piano too, I never saw him do that bit of "Somebody to Love" live, only on track.

If I'm wrong, please send me a link, because I'd love to see that, but I never heard him actually hit all those notes.

Freddie is king, but stop crying about this guy being a joke because it sounds very similar and it is a great immemorial.

  • Fool, go see a doctor!

  • They had played in new york city, look at their website, at the blog, you'll see.

  • Ha, he's already accepted in America, they had a very succesfull tour last year, the american fans asked them back , already!!

  • lol, pwnd by lilliane22.

  • hij is echt de beste imitator van de wereld!!!!

    akelig perfect!!!!!

  • increible

  • Completly agreed!!

What do we have when Freddie died ?, only but memories.

Here's something to look forward too, and I'm very happy something like this excist!!
