  • It was topped out as well. Would have gone better with less gear.

  • On the drag radial pass it went 7.39. 11.6 1/4.

    Search enforcer vs candyman.

  • @tamestang if thats true than these cars are trull bad to the bone.

  • this 7.7 run converts to a 12.01 1/4 mile ET, the best run on this setup (7.2) converts to a 11.23 1/4 mile ET

  • Guys in the video I was running 7.7's. The best this combo ran on a 175 and slicks was a 7.18 @ 94 mph. It was stock throttle body to oil pan with bolt ons. You can YouTube chadwad12 and find a pass where I went 11.6 on drag radials.

    It's a go pro video

  • All you youtube know it alls are just talking. Every car runs different. I've been racing fords for years and it is completely possible for a 302 with bolt ons and a good shot to get into the 11's.

  • No where does this guy show time slips ,and therefore, his claims are very debatable.Again no bone stocker with nitrous is going 10s not even with gears ,exhaust, pullies and all those little add ons.

  • Sounds like u def have gears atleast..

  • Sounds like u def have gears atleast..

  • hes talk 1/8 of a mile

  • If your car has only the mods you claim it has then it is a high 12 second car in the quarter ,Why dont you tell us what you do the quarter mile in?Remember you are talking about a 225 h.p mustang that runs mid 14s when STOCK!!!So before you make wild claims i remind you that: gears, headers, sticky tires and nitrous do NOT shave three seconds off you e.t 12.6 to 12.8 seems like about right.

  • @camirocz I know right. 7's are like mid-10's or low 11's territory. Doesn't make sense on an eighth-mile track.

  • @camirocz

I've seen nearly stock 302 stangs with a 150 shot run 10's all day long. Its all in the Tune, and the Driver.

I didnt read it anywhere, but i would assume this car has some type of head work done.

  • @MsKrista1981 Bullshit !Do you realize what you are saying a225 h.p mustang with 150 shot going 10s.I have a 505 h.p c6 z06 that flies and i dont go 10s.Stock mustang with 150 shot maybe high 12s at best.Remember here yo are saying stock so you are starting with a 14 second pig that traps less than 100mph!

  • @camirocz not to mention a completely stock mustang that is over 10 years old probably couldnt handle a 150, especially if it was badly maintained like 90% of the foxbodys you see on the road

  • hell i must be doing something wrong, my car makes 338rwhp and 391rwtq and has only been a best of 7.81 @87 na.

  • man your doing 94.24 7.25 passes on the 1/8 mile not on a 1/4 mile your 1/4 mile would be 12.5 12.8 so don't try to play it off

  • @pirinat1 you need to get your math right. a 7.25 1/8th mile pass is a 11.38 1/4 mile pass give or take a tenth or 2.

  • @bobwatters they have a stock suspension class that my buddy ran 7.02 183mph with a 9 inch mt drag radial. The car was a Malibu wagon with a sbc with a hole lot of nitrous 3stage direct port injection and he left on a fogger the car was dynoed at 2000 hp and it weighed like 2543 with driver in it

  • all the 5.0's from '87-early '92 had forged slugs do your homework.i regulary spray a 175shot on my '93 coupe but it has a '91 motor swapped in,and i drive it everywhere even to the track then swap on hoosiers spray to 11.9's drive back home, and to work all week.5.0s are the shit.you don't need a perfect tune my car has never been tuned at all just '93 cobra maf,24lb injectors, explorer intake, and everything else is stock.

  • and what shot is on it

  • HO motors have forged pistons and roller cam but any ways is that a HO 5.0

  • @bowtieboy327

all mustangs are HO motors. Heck, every 5.0 engine that landed in a car after 86 was a HO engine. All HO engines have roller cams in em. The engines were forged from 87-91. 92 and up the motors got the hyper pistons.

  • @bootlegthepirate 92 was the last year of the Forged slugs. 93 started Hyper.

  • that was nice how much nos??

  • nitrous is never safe. I promise you eventually you will end up with engine damage or total engine failure.

  • i have been spraing my stock 5.0 bottomend for the last 3years with a shots from 125 to 200 and its find just got to make sure you DONT run lean lol

  • @jeffcougar1968 how many miles are on your motor?

  • no not all foxes had forged pistons the 88 and maybe 89. and im sure you ran 7's sprayin a stock motor but i sure dont believe low 7's much less 7.00's. you can run a good shot on an aod but you need a shift kit and a man. valve body wouoldnt hurt. if your car has less than 1000 it could take about 180 with a perfect tune but i would assume you drive this car alot so i would just go 125 with the timing retarted.

  • What are you talking about? 93 is when they didnt have forged pistons but that doesnt matter. There is a video in my profile of me running a 7.25 and that wasn't my best time. My best is a 7.18

  • jfowler23 just to correct you a little bit i own a 89 mustang and yes all 89s had fordged pistons mine had 167xxx miles on it and i sprayed 200 shot(wet) on stock everything but bolt ons and a hd clutch 2 heat range colder plugs and only 4 d retarded, just seeing what it could take. It never let go, sure posi was roasted and tranny was getting week but them year 5.0 will crack the block (at bout 600hp) before the shortblock lets go. im sure he could runs 7.00 with more pratice

  • I rebuilt an 87 and it had the same pistons as my 88. I think most of the HO mustang motors had them, but my HO crown vic 87 motor did not and that was the only difference between the short blocks. A lot of people swap those out thinking they are the same and that's not cool.

  • the 86's came with forged pistons

  • @jfowler23 79-92 had forged aluminum pistons, the 93-95 had cast "hypereutetic" steel

  • @jfowler23 ALL aero foxes until midway through 92 all had forged slugs, they then switched to hypers. four eyes had cast

  • how much would be safe on my 94 5.0? its a 5spd and motor and trans is brand new. motor has e303 cam and gt 40 intake mani and bbk throttle body. 70mm.

im wanting a good pwoer added less than $1000

  • running nitrous would be safe with your motor

stock 302's in foxbody's had forged pistons i believe

  • Whaa kind of time did, or would that run in the quarter?

  • you can totally do it

I had an 89 coupe it was an AOD car, fresh 302, 3.55 rear gears,, longtubes, mild ported E7's, a B cam , stock intake, maf,etc & a NOS Dry kit Spraying 125 and she put down 7.00"s @98. mph in the eigth. Then I went to a nx wet kit and the Bitch loved it it was a nasty car on the Bottle

  • no way, i dont believe it. That car would have to way about 2500 pounds. And a turd aod no freaking way. A friend of mine is running a stock 302 with only a cobra intake and cold air and a wet 200 shot and he ran 7.80's on 10in slicks. Only way i believe that is to see it in person

  • yeah but hows your friends reaction time, and how well can he shift the car, what was the track temp motor temp.... ect.... diffrent places and drivers make for diffrent times

  • what ind of gear does your friend have, what kind of cam. i have a 306 ported e7 and trick flow stage 2 cam and 373 gear, and i ran 7.90 on motor with aod. it can be done

  • what was the et

  • What kind of 60 fts were you cutting on those nittos?

  • i used to have a 91 fox with a 306 carbd with a 250 shot it was alot of fun... it would pull the wheels about an inch with 4:10's and 28x12 slicks and i also had a stock t5 but that only lasted about 2 weeks.... it ran a 11.30 on motor and 10.80's on nitrous but my car was gutted with only the driver seat

  • i have a 89 mustang and it is not stock and i run slick and 150 shot nitrous and it does not run 7.18 she has to have alot done to that thing to run that

  • Look at the other vid of my car I just posted up. In that vid it is still stock cept with a cobra intake. The mph is up to 94.24 but it only ran 7.25. Crappy weather and only pass I got out of it. You can see I have some suspesion issues to work out. 6's are coming!

  • @tamestang ur talkin about an 1/8 mile right b/c i know a dude that runs 10's in the quarter and he had to get new rear suspension and all types of shit with the engine no way u runin 7's on anything stock on the 1/4 mile

  • You are full of shit! the proof is in your tires! not wide enough. It didnt even jump hard. I would give you high 10s and thats me being nice

  • i would like to know more about this car, as im about to get some nitrous for my car!

how big of a shot did you use, and did you have to tune?

im being told as long as i run high octane fuel, back my timing from the current 15 to 10, and maybe even back the plugs to a colder plug, that ill be fine with a 100-150 DRY shot....

    any advice ?

and i have a AOD tranny (waiting for it to go to replace with tko500) any advice with spraying a stang with a AOD?

  • 100 Shot will Smoke that AOD.. You can try to put a Big Tranny cooler to buy you a week or so. But on that kind of Nitrous hit.. You will be swapping trannys sooner!

  • I had a 75 shot on my car with 3.73's, headers, off road h-pipe and a B&M shift kit. Then I took off the N20 and went to GT40 heads (mild porting), Cobra intake, Crower cam and Paxton with 9psi, and a B&M 2400rpm torque convertor. Guess what...the tranny didn't blow.

  • Hey tame, what shot are you running at 7.18? A 150? Just curious which delivery system you use (nozzle, direct port, plate?) - I'm getting ready to toss an NX Nozzle kit on with a 100 shot - it'll pretty much be a stock car with gears, exhaust, and nitrous. Later I'm going to put my polished GT40P's, Trick Flow 1, and Anderson Intake on.

Are you launching on mostly untouched T5 and 8.8? I'm curious to see how well my t5 and 8.8 will handle a sticky launch on radials.

  • The shot is a maxed out 5115 kit. It puts down 105 more rwhp on the bottle than what it puts down on motor. 341rwhp 503 tq. It's a nozzle in the rubber intake boot. The t5 is still kicking and is stock. The 8.8 is also stock with just a clutch pack rebuild. I can give you a link to putfile with the 7.18 pass if you would like to check that out.

  • yea that'd be sweet. I'm only throwing a 100 shot through my stock heads, intake, and cam. I'm getting a proshifted T-5 because i've been having bad luck with swapping in stockers. I'm gonna go for some sticky's as well. I'm running 3.73's with a fully rebuilt 8.8. Had the clutch packs shimmed tighter as well. I've been pretty happy so far. Getting curious about a 150 shot, but I might just wait and see what it'll run on 100 shot first.

  • that is at redline isnt it i have a identical mustang to that i have never seen you out there

  • Did I see that time right? Holy shit that fox was loving it's nitrous there!! Great shifting, too!!

  • I have upped the shot and have slicks now and now it runs 7.18 @ 94mph. It has 373 gears.

  • fuck, that must be a big shot to run those kind of numbers on a mostly stock car. good to see it run strong like that!

  • That thing went! a 7.4 1/8th= mid 11s for a stock 5.0! : ) Ive got full bolt ons with a 150 shot so i cant wait to go to the track! But what gears are those?

  • what gears are you running?

  • now it runs 7.47 at 91. Hoping for a new best this saturday. That vid was a 7.79 I think.

  • wat times does that run?

  • Great looking car!!!!!!

  • Thanks. It's no 99gt with an F1 but it gets the job done...for now

  • I dont know what you are talking about....

  • Its got gears, exhaust, and 125 shot.
