  • "Tingly goose bump song" this should be called, Awesomeness. Let's see those shit talentless auto tuned pop artist that we shovel our money at put half the emotion of one of jack whites songs.

  • Comment removed

  • who says u cant clench ur fist when u play guitar? u must not know about jack white

  • what guitar is he using?

  • @Gunmetallic91 Its a 60's Kay Hollowbody, with DeArmonde pickups. really good bluesy sound. I have a '61 Kay Vanguard with the same picups

  • 3:03 Love the way they communicate!

  • 1:40 holy shit!

  • nooooo 11 people are gonna catch hell :)

  • Love this song

  • @ 2:24 Meg is like :D then she goes beast and is like >:) eat that cymbal!!

  • @54coupekid Wow, I thought i was on my username -_- my dad never logs in...

  • Jack White is the reason I love kay guitars. I'm buying a 1965 Kay Vanguard electric guitar. its a basket case so its gonna have that badass look jack's has!

  • Why the crowd is so quiet? Probably they are just stunned by the sound of this guys and they can't react.

  • You tear that shit up on good speakers....and the coffee and cigarettes....take on the tesla coil was superbly divine hilarity!

  • 3:03 ... this is Teamwork, Meg and Jack feel each other soo good ... ;p

  • Omg

  • thank you jack for giving me my first eargasm

  • 2:22 HOLY SHIT...

  • @Fred931v2 why?

  • @vikymoejoe Cause the camera zooms on Meg's face and she's all happy, smiling, relaxed... and then WHAM CYMBAL WTF.

  • Ahah, thay assume it's 300mph Torrential Outpoor Blues. How is that? They should know they never play with a setlist. Amateurs!

  • Jack White + Slide Guitar = Thank you God

  • This guy is one of the top 5 guitarist who ever lived, up there with SRV, Hendrix and Claptop can't even get close to this talent (and admits it!). If you have seen him build a giutar out in a middle-of nowhere field next to a cow, out of a wire, a wood board & play it with a coke bottle, you know what I mean--see the trailer or movie of It Might Get Loud. Amazing talent.

  • @gmj2012 Well, thats called a Diddly-Bo which was a cheap alternative to a guitar in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

  • hell yeah

  • gorrilaz live plastic bitch com/watch?v=WXFntn3xK-4 enjoy

  • you think this is unbelievable listen to hobart smith just type it in on the tube only one human

  • Wow...........

  • Lol meg has down syndrome

  • 9 people are gonna catch hell

  • @hornytoadthrower Now 11 : p

  • number 17 best guitarist in the world... that rolling stone magazine is full of bull shit

  • @tybillybob1234 yeah, should've been in the top 10 :D

  • @tybillybob1234 yeah, of course that rolling stone is full of bullshit, but White Stripes is a really good band, also is one of the best in the XXI century. Jack is may not the super guita player, but he has a great spirit and soul, he can mix blues, alternative and punk!!! NEVER DONE BEFORE

  • 9 people don't understand anything

  • I don't care what anybody says, Jack is a god. If you can't feel that than you are not awake.

  • @onebraveheartlion Of course we love meg too.

  • never heard this version of ball and biscuit before, sounds so much like catch hell blues...oh wait

  • Wow, they did a fantastic job of getting the names of the songs wrong.

  • @ryrodye ahaha yeah i noticed that all along different videos, don't know what the fuck they thought they were doing

  • @HeartOfGold91 Open A (EAEAC#E)

  • hey guys shut the fuck up and listen to the music! ^^^

  • this song is fireworks for your ears

  • the most amazing thing that could (or should) happen in 2012 : see matt bellamy a jack white jamming together on the same stage.

  • Jack is the master musician, the best since Stevie Ray Vaughan, he learned from the same old masters & blues musicians, as SRV, and it shows in his level of talent & skill with ANY instrument he picks up. Can finally see more of Meg on drums in this video, too. Thanks for the upload & share :)

  • ball and a bisket was the name of the concert

  • Zeppelin was a bit of everything, mostly blues and Rock, with Metal, Psychedelic, folk, and in my opinion, some funk too

  • @sublime312 and a whole load of stolen songs haha

  • Did anybody else notice that they called it ball and biscuit and then at 0:19 It was 300 M.P.H. ..... blues, and then they ended with that. They shouldhave a real fan work on these kind of things.

  • Pretty impressive for a beat up old Kay found at a St. Vincent de Paul thrift store in Detroit, dontcha' think?

  • This song keeps drawing me back to it. It has a spell on me.

  • @PorcupineToast dude, Zeppelin weren't metal! They were so much more, sorta blues/folk/rock with a little psychedelic rock and metal sprinkled on top

  • GODS!!! THEY ARE BOTH GODS!!!!!! they both deserve their own fricken ROOM in the rock and roll hall of fame!

  • Goose bumps alll over hearing this. 1 wish to hear this live front and center, then i could die happy

  • fantastic

  • I'll never understand why they broke up. They had the world by the balls at that point in time. Oh well, what they should do now is get into merchandising and sell, sell, sell. I wouldn't mind seeing a big ass White Stripes poster next to all the Led Zeppelins, Pink Floyds, and Bob Marleys of the consumer rock stores at the mall.

  • @MegaAries1992 I believe it’s precisely _because_ they “had the world” that they had to break up. Jack has mentioned something about being afraid to be satisfied, because when you’re satisfied you die, creatively speaking. White Stripes was an experiment in minimalism, raw lo-fi tones, and self-imposed restrictions. They won; the experiment was successful. There was no point in going on from there—they had to start a new project, a new experiment. Or two or three :)

  • Best song ever

  • She definitely looks like a Meg. Or even an Elsie.

  • @FatBlackFrancis ive alwyas thought elsie!

  • if i could have a permanent soundtrack of the white stripes playing whereever i went, i would be happy all of my days. just fantastically amazing. originality combined with old school art.

  • what kind kind of guitar is that??

  • There are intelligent people watching this video. Opinionated too....

  • trying to guess which song jack's gonna play next is something that should be left to meg alone, silly germans trying to tell us which song it is before it's got into it

  • whoever showed this video couldn't decide if it was Ball and Biscuit, 300 MPH Outpour Blues, or another song which everyone else knows it is.

  • it's unbelievable that only two people can do together

  • @rbareiro

check out johnossi, they're only two people too. pretty awesome sound too. pretty good singer too. drums are pretty good too. :P

  • @iwytfmahayc - True! Really good, a band that I really like is called The Black Keys in particular the cd Chulahoma

  • @rbareiro There are bands 10 times their size that don't sound half as good as these 2 together do. They amaze me.

  • @rbareiro look out scott h. biram, it can do it alone, however, i love white stripes :D

  • @wasabihansen yes and other things done alone are fine, but most people want two people involved for it to have an meaning. lol

  • @rbareiro Check out Mr. Gnome on here, just a couple doing that too, it IS amazing what 2 people can do! I've been a fan of the White Stripes, and Jack White in just about anything, then discovered Gnome, same setup, woman and man making more music than a 30-pc band or orchestra can. Makes you wonder why so many bands with 3-5 guitar players & a drummer, etc., suck so bad, lol

  • F U C K I N G A W E S O ME !

  • I llove how it says the wrong name of the song twice.

  • i really like the intro on this version

    just wow

  • @maximilliancohen And by the way: I've played guitar since I was three, so shut up about "people who consider him to be a good guitarist have never picked up a guitar.

  • @maximilliancohen. You arrogant troll. Why leave a comment or even watch the video if you don't like jack white? Why don't you go and try writing multimillion albums and appearing on the Grammys? You probably aren't even HALF the guitarist he is. Jack White is one of the most creative guitarists I've seen.

  • I'm gonna catch hell, Yeah i'm doin' it....

  • meg is such a fun drummer to watch

  • guys... it's so obvious... white stripes without meg wouldn't be the same, even if the drummer would be better.

  • @Scaar81 there is no need for a better or better drumming she is pretty much jack's metronome or back track lol

  • @Scaar81 A-fucking-men.

  • Geez guys, just chill! Enjoy the music ;)

  • I'm 500 in the row who liked this :)

  • White Stripes Forever Rules mother fucker!!! Everybody suck my "#°!$"&*

  • Yeah So he started playing ball and a biscuit and ended with torrential outpoor. Either way wtf??

  • Seriously, I know I'm gonna catch hell for this but I've heard so much about this guyt hat I was curious, but those who consider him an awesome guitar player have probably never picked up a guitar themselves. This suks royally !!!

  • @maximiliancohen Woah dude Jack White is a fucking god. He's an amazing guitarist. And I have indeed picked up a guitar before.

  • @LifeFromBelow1979 Well, then you should know that there is NO science to what he does. Which is basically ripping off Delta Blues players much like that other "god" Jimmy Page, one of the most overrated players in history. Thanks for keeping it civil, though. I realize opinions tend to be subjective, cheers!

  • @maximiliancohen xD cheers

  • @maximiliancohen I value his skills as an artist over his technical wizardry. I'll leave that to the boring players

  • @andyscoot43 Exactly. He's a genius at music, even if he's not a perfect player. That's why he's good, he doesn't make every note sound perfect.

  • @maximiliancohen You probably think Herman Li is the greatest guitarist ever dont you? So sad.

  • @schram21891 Herman Li ? Never heard of him and no, I'm not sad over it. I think people like Rory Gallagher, Robin Trower, Frank Marino and others are great blues guitar players. I bet you Jack White knows and listens to them all. Personal taste is highly subjective, don't let your taste get in the way of exploring other players who are not as well known so that you may have someone to compare with.

  • @maximiliancohen I never said I even thought Jack White was on my top 20. But he is an extremely creative guitar player. I already dont like you though, I just get the feeling you think you know a lot more then anyone you talk to.

  • @schram21891 Sorry you feel that way. I don't think I know everything, you're the one making assumptions claiming that I probably think some guy named Herman Li was the greatest guitarist ever in your previous post. I have as much a right to express my opinion as do others. If you disagree, or " don't already like me" that's cool, I'm not running a popularity contest.

  • @maximiliancohen ohk bro. You need to lighten up. The Herman Li comment was a joke. I have no problem disagreeing. But I get the feeling you're arrogant when you try to give me pointers when you don't know me. The only thing you had to go off of was a Herman Li comment. And I felt liked you talked down on me. That's why I don't like you right now. Nothing to do with your opinion of guitar players.

  • @schram21891 HEY! this is youtube, most people on here can't tell shit from a shingle when it comes to music, how was he supposed to know you're not one of those people? everyone on here sounds like an arrogant prick given the opportunity. besides, VAGINA!

  • @jmcfall91 that is a legit point.

  • @maximiliancohen Hey guess what man,The White Stripes R awesome and your just a choad...Oh,Jimmy Page is a Guitar God and your still a choad. Maxipadcohen,Choada boy!

  • @maximiliancohen herman li is from dragon force and he is not as good as jack jack is #17 greatest guitarist EVER according to Rolling Stones n theyve seen em all

  • @jkonu2 yeah, and Rolling Stone also shit on Led Zeppelin back in the day and put Jimmy Page as the #3 guitarist. not saying your comment isn't right but it's right for all the wrong reasons.

  • @Colin2720 They also said Black Hole Sun was never going to be the hit Soundgarden needed to hit it off. Rolling Stone is a shit magazine source, period.

  • This song makes me wanna go find my slide and play for a bit... Hmm...

  • I have a really good idea why doesn't everyone with their stupid comments on this video just get lost?

I mean seriously. If you base your music taste on 'difficult must be better' then obviously you're talking out your backside anyway and don't know what music is about, and just want everyone to think you're sooo much better than them.

ANYWHO, lurve this song, haven't listened to it in a long time :)

  • Well, if they catch me around you're playin' 'rock the boat'

    I'm gonna catch hell

And if you're throwin your voice in bed singin' a note

    I'm gonna catch hell

If you're gettin' tricky lyin to yourself

    You're gonna catch hell

And if you're testin' God Lyin' to his face

    You're gonna catch hell

  • Cant stop listening to this song!!!!

  • @m1kend hahahaha same here m8

  • God I love this song. Favorite Jack White song ever. :D

  • is he using a tremelo pedal at the begining

  • @lovemusicmzipse i suppose not, he just does some magic with whammy and slide. if you're Jack White, impossible is nothing.

  • its catch hell blues

    clearly!

    awesome lifeperformance

really putted me in trance listen to it

nice to see that they enjoy theire own music so much that they really fell in the flow of the rhythm

  • @bonehouse333 not sure, i might lol

  • awesome crowd!!!

  • my favorite version of this song, like it more than the album version

  • @Mikeydafadedone I like this one but it seems the album version has the best built up ever....Know which part im talking about ?

  • kinda piss me off that no ones jumpin around or anything

  • Fun song, one I listen to all the time. All who say Jack sucks. Fuck Off he's just different.

  • i dont care what anyone else says about meg's drumming.it works.i doubt anyone else could achieve the same sound.loose mouths...

  • This song is making me late for work!

  • For the four and a half minutes of this song the world ceased to exist for Jack and Meg. There was only that song.

  • 1:20 meg checks the time...

  • wow this two individuals fucking rock . simple as that.

  • Its a Kay Archtop

    brokenbricksdotcom/guitar.shtml

  • What guitar is he playing on?

  • they dont appear to sell slides in my country anebody have some alternative suggestions?

  • @corakanproductions go to a hardware store and find a piece of copper pipe that fits your finger nice and comfortable. hole wise and then have someone cut it size thats good for you thats what i did and the shit sounds rugged

  • @corakanproductions try a bottleneck, thats how it all started

  • @sumwhatparanoid okay like a whole beer bottle or break the neck off some way (with care)

  • fuck yeh

  • Catching 300 MPH Biscuit Balls From Hell!!

  • @ledzeppole10

    BEST comment on YouTube.

  • jack white is a kick ass guitar player. hes very talented. they sound like no one else. like radiohead who also have alot of kick ass songs hydeparkhobo. let people listen to what they want to listen to. and it sounds like jirdimaster doesnt think that kurt cobain was talented. hes no david gilmour but he was talented. plus he could paint.

  • Jack White is a musical genius

  • This is garage rock...of course it uses power chords..

  • jack uses a bottleneck... it's normal to use power chords with bottleneck so calm down Oo he uses blues' techniques... It 's not comparable with kurt kobain...

  • @igessthsisgrwnup

Meg's drumming fits the music perfectly, Jack White played drums before he played guitar, if she was that shit she wouldn't be there. She he can play delicately and softly, and when she needs to she can beat the living shit out of it. Also, she's his ex-wife, not his sister.

Lastly, I learnt the solo from smells like teen spirit when I played guitar for all of 1 week, totally not innovative

  • dayum meg you fine

  • haha, the television company got the name of the song wrong twice in a row.

  • Comment removed

  • i love the white stripes cuz youre never really shure what song they are playing

  • yes, it's pretty the same...

     jejeje

  • wooow thats an awesome version of ''ball and buiscuit''!!!....kinda sounds like ''cathc hell blues'' tough xD

  • @karlos23023 that video told me it was 300 mph torrential outpour blues.

  • @TheLedZeppelinFan1 most definitely Catch Hell Blues he even says it in the the lyrics

  • @paranoidkid17 lol i know. Just everything labeled around this video is wrong.

  • hahaha, they get song wrong twice haha

  • Hey man

Meg doesn't care about YouTube comments

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • Meg's got some big ol' tittays. Also the song is pretty kickass too.

  • hahah it said ball and biscuit as the song title? 0:01

  • @TheDeadEnemy and 300 MPH torrential outpour blues at 0:19

they were a bit confused lol

  • White stripes care more about the feeling than the playing and that makes the hole difference \m/

  • ill say this to everyone, music only comes from the soul, whatever you play, you always put a little bit of yourself into it.

  • One of my absolute fave tunes. How Jack White gets this ENORMOUS sound out of this acoustic guitar, only he can say. I love him. He is a slide beast!

  • suckish crowd

  • Jack plays bass, drums, lead, rhythm, and sings lead vocals all through his guitar. He is a one man band

  • hahaha I love how the little caption gets the song name wrong both times

  • Critics are people who have no talent to do anything (except shoot of their mouths), thus feeling qualified to criticize those who do have talent, in all it's many creative and skill-requiring forms. But everybody is entitled to their opinions no matter how near-sighted and brain dead they are.

  • Najlepsza!

    The best!

  • Criticize all you want; 3:25 in? Favourite guitar solo. Ever. It's off key, it's a little laboured, but it's bluesy and chock full 'o balls.

  • i have always loved the way the white stripes have merged blues and rock by stripping it down to the bare essentials to come up this raw sound.... or as jimmy page would call it "rude" :)

  • Jack White y un blues impresionante

  • I don't know why this song is so overlooked it's one of my favourites!!

  • Totally wicked song! Jack WHite!!!!!

  • jack gets the nastiest tone out his guitars, genius musician.
