He is comparing smart parts guns, only a few hundred bucks, to dye, eclipse, bob long, etc. Those guns are over 1000 dollars. The Ion is like the Honda civic of paintball, its cheap, but with a couple hundred bucks in upgrades it can easily compete with bob long, angel, dye, eclipse, etc.

Smart Parts guns are meant to be customizable. Ion's were like two hundred bucks, but when you throw a virtue eye, a virtue or blackheart board, and a few other aftermarket parts they can easily compete with bob long, angel, dye, eclipse, etc.

I'm not saying that this video actually did something to make that happen, but I'd like to think that mine and other people's money did not go to this sham of an outfit. Since I started playing in 2002, I've gone out of my way to get markers from companies other than SP. Gen1 Defiant, ICD promaster, used Featherlight Viking, used BL Protege, used BL Darq Marq.
In regards to the epoxy on the boards, really are you bitching because a company wants to make money off you? why would they let you program their board when they could sell you one? first off I don't know that it would be any cheaper to get all the necessary supplies to reflash a board, not many average players have that just laying around, second not being able to flash the board is in no way making me buy the black heart board, this guy is a tool, companies are in it to make money accept it
