Um, cute bird! I have a cockatoo but he won't come out of his "nesting box" (a card board box he likes to rip appart) because he's sitting on his "egg", AKA, large white wooden ball he pulled off of one on his toys!

That is odd. Mine loves to come out. I take him for walks and when he sees people he does his antics for them. He's quite sociable when he's out of the house. He becomes very territorial when strangers come to the house.

My Goffin's, "Ladybird" is also very sociable with people, but she's very territorial only when she's in or on top of her cage. She'll even bite me sometimes! She goes with me a lot in her travel cage when I go places and loves it! Just last month we (Ladybird and I) went on a 3000 mile road trip in my TransAm to visit my parents.
