Way to discredit an entire series because of 'cousins' kissing maybe three times throughout three whole seasons and one distasteful adopted sibling incident, that Michael turns down.

But really, he/she is wrong. Just look at the Amish: they experience birth defects more often because they are a closed community, and I don't even think they practice cousin marriage, so you don't even need to be 1st cousins to have these defects. It's largely because the defects don't often hit til a few generations after, so I may fuck my cousin and my kids might be fine, but their kids may be fucked up.

A sample doesn't have to be made up of people you personally know. Fail grade 6 science class? You can rarely infer ANYTHING from that sample. I could say, "well, my cousins fucked and had healthy children; therefore cousin fuckin's fine." That's what you did.
