This is where I went on holiday last year, inspired to visit the area after listening to The Darkness, watching Rock School on TV and reading Philip Leslie's novel 'The History of Us'. (Two of the characters meet in Lowestoft for an illicit affair.) I thought it was a lovely town, with decent shops and a brilliant sea front, but have to admit, I did get lost, But thank goodness for roundabouts. You can go round and round them for hours while you work out where the heck you are!

ive seen a lot worse road systems, they made the best out of a bad situation, you cant argue this new road has stopped a lot of traffic going down london road, at the end of the day, this is the only way accross the river, of corse its going to be like a bottle neck, there is no room for a 3rd bridge, and this bridge is as big as it can ever be. try living in central london, then you will know what traffic is like.

To put the record straight , i am back in Lowestoft , is it a shit hole , of course not , just has problems like any other close nit town .
