If Muslims were truly proud of Islam, they’d be saying what it IS rather than what it ISN’T. It isn’t Saudi Arabia’s version, Iran’s, Egypt’s, or Syria’s. It isn’t in ahadith or even in the Qur'ān when verses are “out of context” (which they always seem to be). Jihād and shari'a aren’t true Islam, and neither is tiqiyya. I just discovered a really wonderful YouTube site called Doubt & Dissent. I strongly recommend it. Posted a month ago, it to date has received a mere 3,170 views. It opens with a quotation from Qur'ān 5:101-02, which has been my favorite tool when arguing that Islam expects Muslims not to think, but only submit, and closes with the final scene from Dead Poets Society.

Muslims tell us that killing is a sin. That must be why Qur'ān 2:216 says “Fighting is enjoined on you, and it is an object of dislike to you; and it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you, and Allah knows, while you do not know.”
So fighting is Muslims’ obligation whether they like it or not, Allah knows best, and Muslims are to submit to him, not think it over. (Doubters are referred to Qur'ān 5:101-02.)

The story you heard is the same story as everyone else heard, It was made up by the Sun. It was pretty fast proven to be false. The people the sun said converted Michael all have put out official statements that this never happen, that they never met michael. Michael's lawyer also said it was false. TheDan, Merriam-Webster on line recognizes "biblic" as only a combining form. My Random House College doesn't include it at all. There is no Gospel of Mathews, though there is a Matthew (two t's, no s). What can "scholar of over 17 Bibles" mean? The school in Lawrence is the University of Kansas and the preposition idiomatically placed before a school is AT. An exclamation point should not stand apart from the last word of its sentence. I never before saw Islam’s primary text spelled “Qurran.”

If Muslims were truly proud of Islam, they’d be saying what it IS rather than what it ISN’T. It isn’t Saudi Arabia’s version, Iran’s, Egypt’s, or Syria’s. It isn’t in ahadith or even in the Qur'ān when verses are “out of context” (which they always seem to be). Jihād and shari'a aren’t true Islam, and neither is tiqiyya. Beheading, bombing, hijabs, FGM, and wife beating aren’t, either. And every Muslim is falser than the Muslim who’s speaking.
After all the nullifications are in, what IS Islam?

I just discovered a really wonderful YouTube site called Doubt & Dissent. I strongly recommend it. Posted a month ago, it to date has received a mere 3,170 views. It opens with a quotation from Qur'ān 5:101-02, which has been my favorite tool when arguing that Islam expects Muslims not to think, but only submit, and closes with the final scene from Dead Poets Society.
Among those who are willing to think, Islam is surely crumbling. If non-Islam cannot win this clash, brains are not worth having

Muslims tell us that killing is a sin. That must be why Qur'ān 2:216 says “Fighting is enjoined on you, and it is an object of dislike to you; and it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you, and Allah knows, while you do not know.”
So fighting is Muslims’ obligation whether they like it or not, Allah knows best, and Muslims are to submit to him, not think it over. (Doubters are referred to Qur'ān 5:101-02.)

@bangfarang yes the koran contains passages that say a muslim has to fight, and even kill others. but it has reasons. like when the koran says kill all unbeliefers, it ads the part, wherever they have driven you out.
But when you don't use violence against a Moslem, he is not allowed to kill. As the Koran also say, Killing one innocent is as worse as killing whole of humanity. And most Muslims do cherry pick the koran just like Jews do with the Torah or Christians with the bible.

@bangfarang yes i am an atheist, but that doesn't mean one has to be ignorant about Islam. I red the Koran and have several Muslim friends. And i don't think any of them is more lying than any other human i know. And i am not aware of any statistics or evidence that muslims lie more often than others. You propably belief Taqiyya alows every muslim to lie to advance Islam or to take over the world and what not. which shows your ignorance. And my videos and favorites are propably only a coverup...

@Aanthanur Firstly, the command of Allah applies to the “Children of Israel” (i.e. Jews). It does not apply to Muslims!!!. Secondly, the verse does not use the word “innocent” anywhere!!!. Amazing, isn't it?. Thirdly, a person can be slain for (i) murder or (ii) for spreading mischief in the land (fasad)!!. Now, let us see what is spreading mischief in the land (fasad)?.The answer for that too is provided in the Quran!!!.

@biginfidel the koran does not allow muslims to kill non believers. Nor would taqqiya be allowed in this example here, because you are not treathening my life. Taqqiya allows a muslim to deny his religion and claim to not be a muslim, but only if his life is in danger if he admits being a moslem.
