  • i just got this car a few months ago. i love it. its more than adequate in terms of acceleration and gets upto 35mpg on the highway with the 8 speed.

  • What does the prestige model have that the reviewed car doesnt?

  • @QuinnsTheBest it has options like nav and b+o stereo standard. it also has blind spot detection and keyless entry. goto audiusa.com

  • i seen this recently - white audi a5 will go down the street and nobody cares, but a white bmw m3 goes down and everyone looks

  • @DMasterMensionz dont you think its because of their different prices..? i mean people will look at a s-class, but probably ignore the e-class.. though there is not much difference between them!

  • @halldorarni22 no they are not, i have a 3.2 and have timed it myself doing 6 seconds flat. audi even claims 5.9 for the auto. to 6.4 for the 2.0T

  • @TheTopOfTheCrop Nah, 335is maybe

  • the 3.2 is the way to go, you get the split dual exhaust stock, looks better because of that, sounds better and i get 6 seconds flat to 100km (62mph) so i don't know where your getting 6.4 for the 3.2. put your foot down.

  • @mansfieldcanada no yeah dude your clocking is probably right not the people who engineer the vehicle

  • @mansfieldcanada the 2.0 is as fast as the 3.2 they are both 6.5 secs to 62mph

  • I always thought the V6 3.2L in this car was the way to go, I was never a fan of Turbo's...but seeing that the MPG (for obvious reasons) and still managing that large torque number, the 2.0T seems like a better choice, and of course the possibilities for upgrades for horsepower are endless when it comes to Turbo anyway! thumbs up to Audi once again, for leading the way in technology and its advancements.

  • There must be an International law forcing car maufacturers to provide optinal manual gear box.

Mid finger up of you agree... :D

  • I didn't know steve hammes is a roadfly correspondent.

Btw gorgeous car. I'm thinking of purchasing a Legacy GT but this is far more attractive.

  • must be a bigger turbo or a bit more boost than a regular VW , but at $37K and 211HP, camaro SS would be my choice if i was a doucher looking for a coupe, put ur big sunglasses on faggoids

  • The Car drives well and is well refind, except for the 2.0T motor which is a total let down, It burns as much as oil as a twostroke race bike

  • premium model does not have LED headlights and tail lights. But you can always add it when you order. You can also select premium speaker, intelligence key, etc. each at roughly $1000

  • ppl cring about the 4 cylinders need to realize that you get good mpg and still get good horsepower.

  • Does the cheapest (premium) model not have the daytime running LED headlights?

I feel like thats literally 50% of the car's great looks. Without it it's not as special....

but another $3,700 for the premium plus? :(

  • @Jesse22H here in germany the LED lights are included if you buy the xenon front headlights but i dont know about the US model.

  • I thought the diesel model was not even available in US? Or am i wrong?

  • This girl is attractive in a weird way.

  • This car is beautiful. Looks like one of the new Camaros had sex with a BMW 3 series.

  • 44 grands..Are you freaking serious? For a 4 banger? wow..I'll get a bimmer 328 coupe and save some moneys

  • @mcximus 328i is slower due to heavier engine only 20 more hp but much less torque. There's a reason why the 2.0T one engine of the year 5 years in a row. With a APR chip or K04 conversion for 4 grand, it kick ass.

  • $40,000 for a 2.0T? what's wrong with them?? it probably drives like crap with ZERO acceleration.

  • @yeahmeknows that thing has a 0-60 in 5.6 seconds if you consider the turbos as well. that's pretty much the same as BMW 3 series. with better mileage >_>

  • @derek400004 There's no way it does in 5.6 secs, maybe 7.5 or 8.

I drove the 3.2L V6 AWD and it had 0 punch and the dealer was like "Fast huh?? it does 0-60 in 6 secs!" yeah right.

But I must say Audi's 4.2L V8 engine is sweet! if it's no V8 it's not worth so much money.

  • @yeahmeknows hmm that's interesting, i guess my the model i sat in was either the S5 instead, or it came with one of the bigger engines. but having said all of that, i do agree with your 0 punch. i think it has acceleration, just that it comes rather.. silently and feels more like a grand touring car than a flashy sports car. the V6 that they used to provide with previous A5 models isnt all that bad either, but its no longer an option - kinda sucks haha~

  • @derek400004 this car does not post even close to impressive acceleration times. i think my 1997 avalon had about as much punch.

  • @yeahmeknows Audi A5, most expensive 4 cyclinder you can buy, no thank you. I thought I was the only one who felt that way, i thought I was taking crazy pills! Audi needs to either up the engine, or drop the god damn price!! WTF, GTFO of my face with your 4 cylinders at 40k!!!! Fuuuuuck!!!

  • this is the best looking car today.

  • @itmustbelove08 oh yeah? You must be talking about cars that normal people can afford, because Pagani and Koenigsegg have something else to say about that.

  • @TrueCall I'd love to see the Pagani and Koenigsegg's you're driving

  • @ShotGunRoleModel Dude are you that fucking dumb? Some person said this is the best looking car today referring to the A5. Then READ MY COMMENT AFTER. STUPID!

  • @TrueCall ..aww, did your mommy need to change your diaper after my comment? Stop being such a fucking baby, little girl. It's a matter of opinion what people like and don't like. You're talking about what 'normal' people look at? What does that even mean? What're you driving? Neither of the cars you're talking about, so keep your mouth shut, douche. Tell your mom I said hi and remind her to pick you up some more hotwheels - so you can pretend to know anything about cars that "look good."

  • @ShotGunRoleModel You got some problems to work out and by the way I drive a 2003 C32 AMG which would smoke this A5 and whatever piece of shit you have. CHeck my vid if you don't believe. I'm thinking about picking up a GTR soon, so keep your hate to yourself. Haters are fags.

  • @TrueCall 1.) No one cares what car can smoke the other here, we're stating opinions, or the facts on this car, 2.) No one cares to see someone drive their moms car around town, 3.) Never said the A5 was a really fast car, we've all driven faster cars and better-looking than "your car"), 4.) I'm thinking about buying a fighter jet plane. Oh snap, son. Now I can smoke anyone. Do I win? 5.) You're the only person hating here, so good job at finally coming out of the closet - FAG. Have a nice day.

  • jessi you look good in blue

  • really great car...

  • 2:50 ESPN Deportes !!!!

  • wow same acceleration of v6 with less horsepower TurBO POWER

  • Love the look of this car.

  • If this is the Plus model..... WHAT DOES THE PRESTIGE LOOK LIKE!!!

  • Base price isn't very expensive for THAT car..

  • 2:10 "throws are precise," yeah, driving fully over the double yellow in a turn is some major accuracy

  • @SKStylez Closed road for filming there smart guy.

  • nearly 40 for 210 hp and only 4 cyl? ouch :/

  • Doesn't the S5 get the same supercharged V6 as the S4? And doesn't the V8 comes with the RS5?

  • @nametaken8982 S5 convertible got the supercharged V6 as in S4.

    S5 coupe still has 4.2L V8.

  • This is a great car, pricey for a 4 cylinder turbo...yeah...but you get a lot for your money here. The RS5 coming out (although not sure if it will make it here in the states yet) will be an awesome addition to the lineup. It will probably cost about twice the price of this car.

  • Wooo getting a little pricey! STARTING at 37K for the 4 banger? I'm more performance orientated than luxury, so I think I'd start considering BMW or MB in that price range.

  • Nice review... did I hear that right.... the turbo has the same performance as the V6 for 12 grand less? Makes you wonder who would ever buy the V6 model at all when you could load up alot of options on the turbo four for 12 grand.

  • Love these Cars. Can't wait for the RS5

  • @geedunk13 seen a few of the RS5s around here (near Audi headquarter in Sweden) and they look cool. Would love to try one. But waiting for my V8 TDI touareg (20111 model). =)
