  • This is art!

  • Don't you mean best patching, not a bad job but might be tricky to re-patch anything afterwards. This is not that hard to complete.

  • that is the sexiest thing I have ever seen. ever

  • @ViperTechnologies ALMOST EVERYTHING IS WIRELESS THESE DAYS......AND ALL CAPS IS HARDER TO READ......BE M

  • WOW BEAUTIFUL I HAVE A HOME DOMAIN NETWORK AND CHOOSE TO HAVE THE ENTIRE PLACE WIRELESS THE SERVER IS WIRELESS AND ALL DESKTOP WORKSTATIONS ARE WIRELESS AND OF COURSE THE LAPTOPS

  • I want to frame this and put it on my wall. So beautiful.

  • anything is possible with zip ties and time!

  • well done

  • Excellent, and no, a well configured cabling is much easier to track faults in.

The masters at this were the phone company, they ALWAYS did it right!

Now telcos use a pre packaged solution, something goes wrong and they replace cable as a module.

  • That's a work of art man!

  • One of the best i've ever seen. Great job!

  • Why the zip ties? Makes it a major pain to trace a cable.

  • I'd hit it

  • looks great. looks alot like my work. Fantastic!!!

  • Thats nothing. We had 35 racks in a police comms centre. And a further 15 downstairs.

  • TEARS OF JOY!!!!

  • show me a picture of this in a year from now.....trust me, it doesn't stay like this

  • My God... It's.... BEAUTIFUL!

  • its gorgeous!!

  • So... how much faster does it run now?

  • el cableado no debe estar sujeto con amarres

  • Neat and organized, did you label the wiring or do you have a scheme ?

  • I bet that sped things up, great work!

  • a work of art, beautiful!

  • That's nice...I would have taken a little bit more time to comb the cables out more and used velcro. But it does look good.

  • Good work.

  • That's beautiful!

  • it's so pretty, i want to make love to it !

  • Now that's a proper cable run job. Color coded for your convenience too. Well done.

  • nice colors but would have been nicer to listen which colors are what and where they are connected to in the back.

  • Why are all the cables purple in the beginning then only a few when you show it neat?

  • amazing!, great music too, i bet it took a long time to do all that!

  • Looks Professional until you turn the job over to the inhouse IS Dept HACKS....Gawd, I hate those plug n play prideless pussies

  • do the colors mean anything, or is it just to make it look cool?

  • Awesome job !

  • Badass Rack. But you couldn't have picked weirder music.

  • How the fu*k did I end up here?

  • this is not that good. All upper kabels run to the upper rail, so you cant see the leds of the switch. Quite unprofessional

  • Fantastic work, my man. Really great.

  • fantastic. although you should have finished with the words "the end", rather than "the beginning" lol.

    Best cabling ive seen.

  • Felicitaciones, se nota que lo hisieron profesionales del cableado y no analistas de sistemas.... y ademas hecho para ser visto ....muy bien !

  • Using cable ties is great but as soon as you want to add something it is a massive hassle.

  • Finally somebody with some sense to take pride in their work! glad I'm not alone!

  • WONDERFUL WORK !

  • WOW! great job!!!!

  • Gorgeous~

  • beautiful Set up best on youtube

  • you make flowers

  • epic cabling job!

  • Color coding is nice, but I think this is a little overkill. Now you're just doing this for the cheese points! LOL

  • Beautiful, but it would be a bitch to diagnose a faulty cable!

  • @MrSlartie bull shit, just don't use cheapest possible chinese crap instead of highest quality cables.

  • @MrSlartie how so? I am interested and learning this stuff on my own.

  • @MrSlartie not if 606a was followed, with this dressing (minus the cable-ties) it would be a breeze!

  • This is funny, I had to reterminate a network that wasn't even labeled and all the closets looked like the begining of this video, and about 2 1/2 months later it looked something like this, I can see he took the BICI class LOL Although i never use tiewraps on cable anymore only velcro straps. Nice job I can see there is someone else out there that likes what they do. 1 Network center and about 10-15 closets. I wonder what it looks like now?

  • this is impressive lmao you must have smoked a couple joints before taking on a project like that

  • Truly amazing... You have love for your job

  • Well done...gorgeous cabling...

  • i can do this alone , 1 day 24 hrs

  • cable tied against cabling regulations.

  • @ab2005ab2005 what's the artist and song title? btw great cable management :) it's just beautiful, and probably much better than my own small setup...

  • @ab2005ab2005 I just got back from Knoxville TN from doing a broadcast studio install at Tyson McGee Int'l Guard Base, and I definitely gained a newfound respect for the artform of rack dressing. This is some stunning work indeed. This is a beauty for the portfolio ;) Do you do installations professionally?

  • Those are the patchcords. What about the back of the patch panels?

  • Stunning. What servers are being run here?

  • hats chuck norrises web and exchange server.

  • That, Sir, is beautiful.

  • I hate it when cables are sorted like that. Its such a pain to pull a cable out :(.

  • too nice, i prefere a little mess

  • that's not work it's art.

  • glorious.

  • That's fine if you've got a few days to bugger about with cable ties...

By the way, you didn't show the back of the rack. I bet that bit pile is back there :-)

  • @noreplyism True :) I saw better.

  • Looks good.. Now all you need to do is replace all those standard patch cords with the new Evo6 self tracing patch cord.

  • now you just need to replace those standard cables with the new evo6 self tracing cat6 patch cord.

  • just a bunch of patch cables what does it look like at the back of the patch pannel

  • Nice, I do like the colour coding

  • I love it, it is truly art.
