The trailer makes this movie look all badass. It has its moments, but the movie is just lovely, and thats something I hardly ever say. It isn't like Coen Brothers movies, not as dark. And the violence is used sparingly.

@jwendeborn People should know better by now that not everything you see in the trailer is going to be in the movie. That is why trailers are generally called Teaser Trailers. Although I agree, I was disappointed that this song was not even in the credits. But the movie itself was excellent and the Coen brothers did a great job following the book.

True Grit is a great movie on many levels and i think it will become a classic. Go see this movie while it is still on the big screen. You won't be disappointed. It is the best of 2010 in my opinion. I highly recommend it.
