Beautifuk ong but also, If you notice that during the birth scene and Anakins transformation scene into Darth Vaders armour, as the medical driod said that she was perfectly healthy but had lost the will to live, when the medical driods are picking off charred pieces of Anakins skin and is in pain Padme also in pain. When Darth Vaders helmet is lowerd onto Anakin to conceal him fully, Padme says to Obi-Wan that their is still good left in Anakin then dies.

anakin did didnt mean to kill padme in star wars he was out of his mind and he didnt know that he killed her he just thought that he hurt a bit, and anakin got all the jedi killed because he wanted to save padme from dying but he didt realize that he is the one who would kill and he did all of it out of love for her because he doesnt want to live without her and he didnt kill himself after he found out because of palpatine is his master and anakin cant kill himself, its a sad story in the end

Thats an interesting thought. Off hand I cant think of a Shakesperian play that uses the Star Wars love formula so your right in saying it would have been a hit play. The Antagonists so to speak is never one of the lovers themselves like it is in Star Wars. The ironic twist in that Anakins love for Padme is what makes him evil would have been original in those days and would have become one of those memorable love tragedies such as Romeo and Juliet.

However...given that the writer of their dialogue failed to invoke any emotion or chemistry between the two and made people like me feel like a Hallmark Card conveyed more love is just an example of why this love story is a failure in cinematic history as opposed to just an idea. Fuck you George Lucas... buisnessman, creator and destroyer of Star Wars.

@oOoOoDarknessoOoOo The Prequel Trilogy is a GREAT story. The whole Star Wars story arc is great. But the Prequels were poorly executed. Take the story, have better scripting and acting (better actors, excluding Ewan McGregor and a few others), better directing. Lucas just got in the way of his own creation. Lucasarts has plenty of writers it could have used to do screenplay for the PT and there were plenty of good directors who would have treated the PT better than George did.
