You are an idiot. In that case swap the 6 cylinder H6 3.0r 3 liter Subaru motor and use a HUGE turbo. There will be no lag and greater torque. And the displacement will still be about half of the corvette's so you can't complain. Horsepower per liter-Subaru and Mitsubishi are the champs. (yes a Subaru guy did just admit Mitsubishi are good)
Put it this way, STI- AWD so of course from a dig it'll beast most cars but I'm sure it's tuned or something to stay away from the Zo6. Who knows the Zo6 is only putting out 385hp or so at the wheels stock.

The driver of the vette didn't know how to drop a clutch or power brake... The Subaru is a turbo which has an inherent lag off the line which the Vette should have kicked his ass off of... So yes, maybe his grandmother was in the Vette.
No, the lag is only after shifts. If you launch correctly and in the right RPM range then there will be little to no lag at all. If the vette had used full power it would never have caught as the RWD car would have just spun it's wheels, while the Subaru is AWD and could launch with full power.
I wouldn't say comfortable :p but yes very practical especially the WRX wagon that I drive. I have used it many times as a transport for luggage and trips to the hardware store. Things you could never fit in a 2 seater. Then I can fold the seats back up and take 5 people total...again unlike the 2 seater. Still...I wouldn't say it's "comfortable" lol.
