@Magasta666 What? You should only be criticizing about somebody elses work if YOU can do better. Also good artists/animators are not rude about somebody elses stuff but insted tell them how to improve it. You should learn how to write correctly too before trying to tell somebody something.

Oh my god O_O I first saw your Doctor Whooves one... I checked your channel to see what else you might have and I saw THIS! I LOVE Ginga Densetsu Weed, alsdfjasldkfjalskfja! I wasn't expecting this - this was a great surprise! :D
i have but one issue on you project and im not trying to bash but it seems as though the origanal animators had don a bit better on the realism and your coloring was slightly off the 2D doesnt fit with the backrounds and looks almost childish but all in all good job...
@RocketMeowth I know MLP and Doctor Who are very well known, and popular, yes, but I know VERY few GDW fans. Hell, it's been a couple years since I've heard it so much as MENTIONED, and I live in New York. Obviously, it's not THAT popular. To me, a fan of GDW is well worth knowing! They're exceedingly rare, believe it or not. (hell, I've only met one in person, not counting the ONE friend I was able to introduce to it)
I personally have never seen anything wrong with Ginga Densetsu Weed.
I know the dogs are poorly designed, and the animation is choppy some of the time, but isn't anime all about being fun to look at? Why draw a realistic human when humans, in general, are ugly?
I'm just saying, but you also did a freaking excellent job on this X3

Man, you are solving my problem with this show. I've never brought myself to watch it because I can't stand the style and total disregard for canine anatomy. The faces, just agh. And the rest of the dog too, really. Your version looks awesome. Seems like it would be a pretty involved and time consuming sort of project, so I wish you luck~

@SuperThunderBolt2 Yes, in anime the animation is choppy some of the time. But that's not the only thing plaguing this show. There's just an overall lack of understanding of dog anatomy. I could put up with the choppy animation if they'd at least drawn the dogs better.
@spiritpup I know. The dogs are all built up in the front, their eyes are spread apart, and some of their faces are way too round. XD I didn't really mind, but it kind of bothered me.

@Gaypuppetbomber No, I actually meant the animation. There are a few moments of really good animation particularly in the first episode, but for the most part it's... not so good. Especially the run/walk cycles. And there's practically no subtle facial animation. Weed's animated expressions are neutral, very angry, or very sad. There's no real subtle in betweens.
yeah, what i didn't like about the animation is that partway thru the series the dogs begin to look like cars or blocks put together in the last minute. You can really start seeing this in shots where there are so many of them together. It was like they took a shortcut. At least Studio Deen doesn't slack off as much as Pierrot does. I noticed that the latter is getting VERY lazy in their animation with recent stuff.
@spiritpup A list to add to the things wrong with the original. As said, the anatomy is inconsistent. Sometimes dogs have stick like legs with no muscular structure, other times they do, but the legs are in an awkward position. The facial movements need work to, when Weed is supposed to be sad he looks happy, and i just can't get over those derp faces! Inconsistant dog designs drag it down aswell. I'm glad you are reanimating the opening (or did you cancel it?), loving the consistant style. :)
@spiritpup yeah i was thinking the same thing while watching the show,yeah its a great show but if they are going to make it cartoony and try to sprinkle some realistic stuff in there its going to come out odd, they could have done better.
I say keep Hougen/Genba/other evil dog the way they are. They look pretty evil to me, just by their expressions. Keep to your style, they look awesome so far. :)
love it the art and animation are fantastic hougen and genba kinda look more like scooby doo(i know they are great danes) the should look more sinister but overall you did a great job and i hope you finish the intro to GDW

I think your animation looks fantastic! Your style looks closer to Disney than Ginga, but I find that interesting (and awesome because I'm a huge Disney fan myself!) :3 The show itself is not bad as far as the plot goes, but I agree, the anatomy of the characters had some MAJOR flaws that sort of took away from the overall watching experience. D:" then weed came in and I thought "WOAH!" xD But I do kindof agree with Swirlstar. :/ Weed is fine, but the other dogs are kinda wierd. I would say chibi almost. The heads are magnificent, but the bodies are puppyish. :c Other than that, It's EPIC.

this is one of the best reanimations of this series that I've seen! way to go. I liked how Weed looked innocent and young. lineart though was a bit noticabe ( not sure how to say it) the lines were too dark. I would thin them out. As for the other dogs I liked the style just 'mean' the badies up a bit. Anyway AWESOME JOB! Really enjoyed

I love the way that you animated them. It makes them look like they actually have some weight instead of being magical dogs that can sprint about on their toes. :P
The only part that bugs me is when you do the close up of weed's head. Maybe it's just the angle or something, but overall I like your style and character design.
Honestly, I think your animation is good, the way you did Gajou was beautiful... but the style you drew the dogs in... ruined it for me. I agree there were some huge bombs in GDW, and the anatomy could be atrocious but seriously.... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I saw Hougen, Genba, and Weed. The only one that earned some respect in that style was Kamakiri, and just barely. Once again, no problem with your style, just don't think your style of dogs fits a violent anime like GDW.
@Swirlstar I'm sorry that you didn't really like it. But yeeeaahhh, I kinda have to agree with you a bit as far as Hougen and Genba are concerned. I'm probably gonna change it to make them look more... evil. But what about Weed didn't you like? Something specific, or just the whole style in general? I ask because I'm thinking of tweaking it a bit anyway.
@spiritpup I think it was the style in general, what with them being too similar to Disney styled dogs. I think the whole style you animated in needs to be more intense since this is a really violent/bloody anime about dogs and war. Once again, animation overall and everything else was good, just not liking the style you animated them in.

this is one of the best reanimations of this series that I've seen! way to go. I liked how Weed looked innocent and young. lineart though was a bit noticabe ( not sure how to say it) the lines were too dark. I would thin them out. As for the other dogs I liked the style just 'mean' the badies up a bit. Anyway AWESOME JOB! Really enjoyed

I must say you are very talented! Even if this this a rough draft or wip.Looks incredible so far.
I love your style it kinda reminds me of a mixture don blurth or Disney,
And yet its a style of its own.
Also I don't think most of the people here even know how hard it is to animate,Its time consuming work! Expecilly if your using photoshop to animate.

I love the way that you animated them. It makes them look like they actually have some weight instead of being magical dogs that can sprint about on their toes. :P
The only part that bugs me is when you do the close up of weed's head. Maybe it's just the angle or something, but overall I like your style and character design.

Honestly, I think your animation is good, the way you did Gajou was beautiful... but the style you drew the dogs in... ruined it for me. I agree there were some huge bombs in GDW, and the anatomy could be atrocious but seriously.... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I saw Hougen, Genba, and Weed. The only one that earned some respect in that style was Kamakiri, and just barely. Once again, no problem with your style, just don't think your style of dogs fits a violent anime like GDW.

@Swirlstar I'm sorry that you didn't really like it. But yeeeaahhh, I kinda have to agree with you a bit as far as Hougen and Genba are concerned. I'm probably gonna change it to make them look more... evil. But what about Weed didn't you like? Something specific, or just the whole style in general? I ask because I'm thinking of tweaking it a bit anyway.

@spiritpup I think it was the style in general, what with them being too similar to Disney styled dogs. I think the whole style you animated in needs to be more intense since this is a really violent/bloody anime about dogs and war. Once again, animation overall and everything else was good, just not liking the style you animated them in.
