  • any pro artist create completely in a digital space, or do you have to draw on bristol board..

  • Where is the full length vid??this is half vid i guess! We certainly don't want to miss Jim Lee working man! truly disappointed!

  • a true master at work right there...

  • This guy is a credit to the comic book industry... and a standard to other comic book artists out there.... Jim Lee breaks the mold everytime! The dude is a beast!

  • If he wasn't old and I was the producer for the xmen movies, I would hire Clint Eastwood for the role of Wolverine ANYDAY.

  • @normalman37 agreed, i think a little more muscled, younger clint eastwood would be a perfect wolverine, more so than hugh jackman. i think jackman tends to OVERact sometimes. i think clint would be a little more natural in the role. as far as jim lee, hes an excellent artis, but hes almost TOO consistant. in otherwords all his males look the same, just with different hair and color scheme. same thing with women. they all have square jaw line and are emotionless. they have "dead eyes"

  • @normalman37 theres still old man logan if they would ever do that b4 h dies lol

  • Jim Lee is Rich!

  • damn he's dipping the ink so much ,use a number 3 w&n sable to hold the ink proably just a quick con sketch

  • God dammit Jim Lee seriously pisses me off lol.

  • How long it takes to draw 1 comics panel?

  • @Extremest242 It depends,1 panel can be more detailed then the other. But if you already did your thumbnails and you just need to do the finished pencils it can take 1h and 30 mins to 3h or even more time then that.It really depends on what your going to draw and how much detail it was.

  • THIS GUY IS MY IDOL!!!!!

  • i wonder what kind of brush he uses with the ink D:

  • JIMLEE IS AWSOME

  • How much did he charge for this?

  • probably way less then what its worth lol

  • now I notice Hugh Jackman is perfectly casted for the role of Wolverine when I look at this drawing..

  • jim lee... He's the best there is at what he does..

  • And what he does... Is very nice!

  • @venomchris I hear that greg capullo is currently the best guy out there.

  • For this piece, Jim's using a regular red Sharpie.

  • @choisez Whats the name of the white ink he always use?

  • I wonder what kind of paper he uses?

  • WildStorm/DC supplies bristol board approximately 11" x 17" for artists to use. Having said that, not all bristol board is created equally and some batches hold ink better than others.

  • I like how he inks his own stuff! Really good.

  • He never does them that detailed at SDCC

  • he uses alot of sharpies for the color, and mostly the black to. just i guess he wanted to use ink instead in this one for the thick hair of wolverines.

  • im so jealous hes amazing

  • best artist marvel ever had !!!!

when i think of x-men it's pictured in my mind JIM LEE STYLE !!!

  • You are so damn right. When think of x men in my head I see hes art style in my mind. The movie and the other crap seems all odd to me

  • Does Jim know how to animate? Maybe he can redo X-men Origins.

  • Excellent Work!

  • awsome wish he drew magneto but nice, a true master

  • watch?v=B0JUn93x1Yg and your wish shall be granted

  • thanx
