It kind of seemed like each group had people within it that were at the top. But they were all only popular within their own groups, and no one else gave a fuck who they were.

What's so weird is being nice to everyone is the real key to popularity but not at my school. One of my BFF's is a total slut and she's NEVER single. She's the most popular and I don't know why. the most popular people are confident, cheerful, active, make good grades, are good citizens, kind to others, dress nicely and are clean, smell good, and healthy. They join clubs, play sports, do volunteer work, are friendly to all, and don't make mean remarks to or about others. Looks are unimportant. One of our cheerleaders who dated the star quarterback was painfully ugly, but she was the nicest gal in school and she always wore nice, attractive clothes and had a nice hairstyle. She is warm.

at my school, the most popular is a light brown haired, blue eyed girl with perfect skin, clothes, and house. everybody wants to be like her, it makes me SICK! she even turned my BEST FRIENDS SINCE PRESCHOOL into squealing short skirt girly girls who barely talk to me anymore and are always late for class cuz there 2busy trying to come up with inside jokes and trends. They join clubs, play sports, do volunteer work, are friendly to all, and don't make mean remarks to or about others. Looks are unimportant. One of our cheerleaders who dated the star quarterback was painfully ugly, but she was the nicest gal in school and she always wore nice, attractive clothes and had a nice hairstyle. She is warm.
