I got this game in Like New condition and it froze up once playing two player on PS1, it's better to play it on PS2, because of the big fan, it can handle more. right.

Just played 2nd Offense a little on the old Dreamcast. I feel sad the Xbox 360 Arcade Vigilante 8 never got off the ground. After the first week, the game was relatively abandoned.

@liateRdnalkcoB yea i played the arcade one for the 360 about a week ago and theres nobody in multiplayer sadly. A full game should be released of this, imagine how badass this game would be with all the computing power we have now in our gaming systems.

@shadowace421 Sadly, I'm not sure they'd be able to make the game stand out in any case. As I found out about the past, they'd just call it a clone of Twisted Metal and criticize it to death... They need more gimmicks...

That's supid. There were other car combat games out there besides Twisted Metal such Rogue Trip and Mega Race. Vigilante 8 had nothin' in common with Twisted Metal, V8 was a spin-off fron Interstate 76' and 82'.

Besides, V8 is better than TM in my opinion.

Ok..they have re-made twisted metal(Kinda) now it's this games turn....this was alot more fun to me than twisted metal...lots of enviroment effects for back in the day game.

@animefriend101 hells yea this game needs to be remade, i mean there is no other game like this right now for the 360 or ps3. Imagine how it would look like now that we have insane graphics and realistic ingame physics...pure awsom destruction right there. And with online multi, so much potential

better than twisted metal due to the fact that the car's mobility and destruction was quite realistic

add to that the weapons you collect here are visually present, making the whole gameplay enjoyable to our eyes (compared to twisted metal)

why in the first vigilante 8 than convoy die and in second ofense its alive????

Convoy didnt die he choose not to fight any more at the end so he could be with Huston but then when a new threat came around he had no choice but to get himself ready to kick butt again thats what happend pal

I do have to say Twisted Metal has had it's days - imo. Anywyas, me being a big TwistedMetal fan/lover, this game V8 still shook me, I thought it was the great and way before its time! :D. 5/5
