@plymothfury sorry, no it is not, that car was already in production for a few years as a civilian car, it was the pontiac G8, then they closed pontiac, so they decided to use the car, just rename it. I know gm tries to advertise it a ppv for police patrol vehicle and yes, as a caprice of right, will now only be sold as a police car. was not a purpose built police car, just a platform they seen fit to use. i am sure the interior will be more accommodating for police work.
