It's a Scout 800 (before the Scout IIs). Judging from the side marker lights I'd say it's a 1970 model. 69 had round reflectors. Could be some overlap in models though. That happened quite a bit.
what kind of scout is that. I have the same one color and everything (smaller tires, only 31's). The guy i got it from says its a a 66 but i dont think it is. What year is yours?
like that, But I am sure that would really be help for the traction. -Here in Iceland on pure snow we can´t drive on it with over 10psi, we just sink down and spin the tyres in complete pointlessity. Lower it down to 0,5psi and we float on top of it! ;) Just a tip my friend.
What!? -What i mean is inflating the tyres down to maybe 10psi, gives them a softer and wider footprint for more traction, oh and more driving comfort! I wouldnt recommend going far below 10psi with these tyres on rocky surfaces
go little scout go!!

Those are ProComp 35's. He's had really good success with them too.

How about lowering the pressure in the tyres?

I think the problem was we had summer air instead of winter air in the tires. It was a nitrogen/oxygen mix that was totally wrong for the season.
