  • Poor train. Had to deal with the sunnyvale air. Man i'd choke from all the pollution.

  • Sunnyvale is probably the shitiest place I have EVER been to. The city has no personality, no one walks the streets. Believe me save yourself and never go there, you will want to shoot yourself if you do.

  • gta San andreas for railfans XD reversing at high speed bcuz the game map isnt unlucked DX

  • they are way faster than BART

  • The Peninsula line from San Jose to San Francisco is owned by passenger CalTrain. They call the shots on traffic schedules. During the day is only pax. UP is allowed to run freight only at night when the frequency of the pax trains is much less.

  • you guys are lucky we only get to keep seeing the amtrack and old metrolink trains

  • The trains were going pretty fast. Have you ever seen freight trains go through that crossing?

  • I've seen a few freight trains go through only late at night. You can tell by their horns.

  • @ekoslosky It's mainly a passenger mainline. They save the freight action for when the evening rush hour is over.

  • @ekoslosky They're going fast for a reason. They're trying to get the hell out of Sunnyvale

  • Sunnyvale looks like a nice place to live.. minus the fast trains. Bet you don't have a lot of people running thru them there. We have a crossing here that doesn't have the warning guards or bells. And I've actually seen a train go thru it without using his horn. Kinda freaky actually...

  • That must have been a lazy engineer then.

Caltrain actually has a big problem with suicides. However, the tracks will be grade-separated and secured over the next 10 years for high-speed rail. This of course means fewer (if any) suicides, no more crossing bells and horns, and smoother traffic. So, does Sunnyvale sound any nicer :-) ?

  • The second train sounded like a 90mph metrolink

  • 5 star crossing sound!

  • Cool Double Train
