Here is the problem, you have narrowed minded Somali nationalist that want to import their ethnic strife into this region and they are being used as tools by the Ethiopian government to divide and conquer. Then there are reactionary Oromos or Christian Oromos that don't want Harar Oromos to get to close to Somalis b/c of religious connection. The land is clearly Oromo land as Oromos are farmers BUT you cant say Somalis have no claim b/c they have grazed thro the land for just as long. takillah

The Oromo are recent migrants to the area. Where Dire Dawa is located was historically part of the grazing lands for Somali camels. Oromos are stealing a lot of the Somali lands with the help of the Habesha regimes and this trend needs to be reversed. Start with evicting all Oromos from Hargaisa and Jijiga.
