Wow lotta DA haters. I do miss the John Barry sound, but I love TND, CR and even QoS has some good moments. But I do think someone else needs to get a shot at Bond. I think if John Altman can do something half as thrilling as the GoldenEye tank chase music for a score, he could be the man.

this music i love, the car i had at the time, seemed to belong to this music-all of it, each piece i remember where i drove that so loved car, when i play that cd it brings tears to my eyes, i also have another Bond soundtrack, and of course the vehicle after my casino royale car was attatched to The Quantam of Solace soundtrack so i know this all sounds crazy but its just who i am, whatever i have at the time gets attatched to certain music....play on Mr Arnold!!!
High Barry influence on the love tracks. While the action tracks like, African Rundown and Miami International etc. is still pretty much David Arnold going wham wham wham with the orchestra. The love themes are the only ones I loved and of course African Rundown. The rest was so-so.
he is perhaps the most barry-esque of all the "other" composers for the bond films... and not that he doesnt have his own style, he does, but you can see a great influence of multiple oscar winner john barry in his scores... which is a huge compliment

Conjures up memories, Out of Africa and Enigma, other Barry trademark classic influences.
