@KageTenshiiRyuu Well... they ARE different. The main difference is that Vocaloid has to be purchased, (As in, you have to buy the software, which is quite expensive) and Utau is a free alternative that you can download online, but I hear is quite difficult to use in comparison to Vocaloid. (Doesn't know for a fact because I have never used either of the two, I just appreciate the songs others make.)

@KageTenshiiRyuu Vocaloids are.. well, vocaloids which were made by companies and need to be purchased. A lot say that they lack emotion while UTAUloids have more emotion mainly because in UTAU, it's easier to "pitch" while in Vocaloid, it is harder.

Utauloids is a fanmade program that imitates Vocaloid in a sense, using voice phonemes to create a song. But anyone is able to create their own UTAUloid using their own voice.
