The reason the venue looked so quiet was due to a number of factors.

* It was midday and due to the dev pub crawls the night before many people were sleeping off hangovers.

*There were enough seats setup for everybody at fanfest ready for the CCP Presents session at 6pm

* Not all people at fanfest are interested in PvP :(

Thus there were a few hundred people sitting in a sea of over a thousand seats, of course it will look less than packed ;)
